Its Friday

Its Friday! Valtools Box already has his Friday Flashback videos up! If you like 80s music, check it out!

I had to go get a tire repair and Ifully recommend visiting Kauffman Tires..There was a bit of a wait, but there were so nice and guess what? They do tire repairs for free. That was a nice surprise. I am looking forward to our First Friday meeting tomorrow night, should be fun. Its been such a neat experience meeting all of these new friends.

June 23rd will be our or hopefully the neighborhood garage sale. Hoping to get a lot of stuff organized next weekend. Whatever we do not sell we will donate to a charity or give to friends in need.

Any ideas on how to organize this? Ways to advertise? Ways to make things easier? Ways to make a little extra money???? i need your help!!!!!

If you live in Atlanta, hope you will stop by~~~

Name something you think is “the best.” Thats an interesting question. There are no products that I have to have..I will say CHik FIl A Unsweet tea is the best

On a scale of 1 to 10 (with 10 highest), how stressed are you today?
This morning at 6am I was stressed but I am pretty calm today. Lots of little stressors out there, but thats it

What kind of cleanser do you use to wash your face?
I used to use Clinique Bar soap but now I dont
Main Course

Tonight is a blue moon! What is something that you believe only happens “once in a blue moon.”
I have an easy shift at work and all my patients are happy

When was the last time it rained where you live?
Its been a while..Ga needs rain pretty bad right now!

Well, not much going on here now. I woke up having a hard time breathing and relaxing. For some reason, everything that I need to do was the first thing on my mind.
Get tire fixed
Put away laundry
Find quilt pieces (I did over 30 pieces and cant find the bag)
Give Lucy her medicine
Organize garage sale which will also be one of our adoption fundraisers..Any ideas would be great and if you live in the Atlanta area, hope that you can stop by June 23rd..
Get a lot of things mailed (contest prizes, baby gifts)
Work on work schedule
First Friday meeting
Church on Sunday
Start organizing things to go in the garage sale..
Do I keep wearing my glasses or go back again for new contacts since my eyesight has changed?
Read chapter one for my LID group which starts today
Go to gym
Really start drinking water and get off the caffeine

There is more..Mind you, these are not stressful, just little things. Now that I have written things down, I do feel better. Michael worked on the garage and attic yesterday and cleaned the sink which was very very helpful..Yeah for Michael.
I am now going downstairs to let Lucy out and then hoping to sleep some more in the recliner.
Updates later I suppose.

Thursday 13- Baby Names

Thirteen Things about Amy
13 Things to think about when you are adopting a baby from China and thinking about names
1. The good news is you have longer than most people. We have a lot longer than 9 months, which gives you more time to go crazy
2. When your last name is Christopher, do not make the first name really really long
3.Make your you dont have too many relatives with the name.
4.Make sure its something people can pronounce and spell without difficulty
5.Dont tell too many people your choices. They will spend time telling you how many people they dont like with that name. Im sure this is the same with any baby name
6.Make sure your baby name doesnt have too many t's to cross or i's to dot.
7. Make sure the name doesnt rhyme with dirty words
8.Make sure the name doesnt mean woman of sorry or anything else depressing
9. If you are a pediatric nurse or teacher, check and see that the majority of the hospital shares your love of the name. I love Emma, Emily,Abigail , Madison and others but because all of America is using these names, we have to pick something else. BUMMER!!
10. Make sure it goes with your last name
11.Make a list. If you ever make a second list, I guarantee you will be going back to the first list.
12. Different names are not always bad
13.Naming a baby after a family member is cool, even if its a variation of the name
As you can tell, we have really narrowed down our name choice. Hints will announced soon!!!!!!

Trivia and cheating

Its official. I need a valium or other sedative before playing trivia at the Mexican restaurant. Although we have already spoken to the children and parents before regarding cheating, they obviously did it again tonight. The parents seem to not even care. Even though we commented on it again, there was no comment back or denial. Seriously, although we came in first and they didn't place, it irks me. I can not even enjoy myself. Ugh!!!! I wish I could just let it go, but I can not!!!

Also, I got to hold baby Emily for a while as her dad fed her some applesauce. I noticed my leg was a bit wet so I thought he had dropped some applesauce..IT WAS NOT APPLESAUCE. The beautiful lovely 9 month old Emily peed on me...

Wordless Wednesday

This is the latest quilt piece in our 100 Good Wishes Quilt project for baby Christopher who will join us from China late 2008 or 2009. This piece is from the wife of the pastor who married us. The material is from an old shirt she wore to work that collected lots of love and hugs. For more info on our quilt, click here. For more examples, click here. If you would like to participate please let me know here or email me at

Whats been going on.

Can you believe its the end of May and that American Idol and Survivor are over? Crazy!!! I am excited that Survivor will be in China next year.

What will Michael and I be doing this summer? Hopefully, having a garage sale June 23rd, saving money for China, cleaning and organizing our home, working on training Lucy the bassett hound some more, becoming more involved in a church, which means joining a church, becoming more physically active, picking out a baby name for our daughter in China, celebrating our LID each month on the 23rd and finding time to spend together. If anyone is interested in joining in on the garage sale, we would love to have another family or 2 join in on the fun!

Its odd. I remember as a child summer meant vacation. Now that I am an adult, we take vacations when we can. I think our next actually "vacation" will be home to Florida at Thanksgiving. I hope we can soon take a weekend away. It doesnt have to be far but there is just something fun about spending the night away from home. My sister is coming back for work in a few weeks and I can not wait for that. She is so fun!!! Im sure we can find something fun to do together...

Shortly, you will see a new blog design here. Do not be afraid. Do not run away. Its still me but with more color..

Anything going on in your life? We are still praying on Mondays over the The Christopher Family Blog and we are looking forward to our First Friday gathering this week. I am now off work for 2 days and I am thrilled. Not sure what I am going to do. Perhaps get ready for a garage sale. Who knows!!!!

Im still not sure what I think about Rosie vs. Elizabeth.. there is too much unnecessary drama in this world!

If you won my contest and need help picking out a movie listed on my blog, this should help!

Its really a day to reflect and to be thankful for the country we live in!

At the same time we are enjoying our families, other families are missing their loved ones as they are fighting for our freedom all over the world. Please say a prayer for our military who are away from their loved ones and for their loved ones who are thinking about them!!!!

A sort of movie review and discussion

Michael and I were able to see a movie this afternoon. We decided against Shrek as all of Atlanta would be there and chose another movie, a romantic little film (sort of) called Lucky You.
It stars Drew Barrymore and some attractive guy and it was pretty much about poker with a story behind it.

I liked the movie, I loved the fact that there was a father-son story line that was delivered nicely. I do not remember any bad words but it had me thinking about the game of poker and other card games.
I offer this to you. Do you think poker is bad? My husband plays but he plays at a restaurant that doesn't play with money but just chips and gift certificates as prizes. Gambling can be addictive just like other things. I have been to Vegas (with family) and I have played the slot machines on cruises (not the Disney Cruise as they don't have them)

Here is my view. Poker (which is just a card game) is only "bad" when it interferes with your lifestyle and/or becomes an obsession. If it takes the place of things you need to be doing, it can be bad. A lot people play for fun or as a way to relieve stress. I know many family members who play every Friday night for fun.

Watching this movie, (and I am not giving away anything), the main character played poker as a living. But I saw some qualities of this game that could be bad and or dangerous. I am not sure I have ever talked about it and wondered other peoples opinions. I know many people have different views regarding this, so please don't yell at me if you disagree with mine. I think sometimes I may not be open minded and just want to hear from other people..

If you prefer to email me , amyschristopher@comcast.

Hmmm.... Im at Day 5 out of 6 at work and I am doing ok! Michael wrote a post on our church experience and how he felt. For the last few years, Michael and I have been looking for a traditional church. I miss hymns. I miss the experience I had as a child. I want those memories for my child. Then I started thinking, what I want most of all is to worship my God to enjoy the experience. I feel like I have put a rule on how I want to worship. Not cool. I want to be able to worship him anywhere. I have seen Him move in churches, in families at work and through friends.

My God wants me to focus on my relationship with Him. I do agree with Michael that there are churches that seem to spend more money on the church advertising and not on the people on the church. These are things I have read in the media. These are not things I know of first hand. Our society has changes and will continue to change. As Steven pointed out, each person that comes to know Christ is a celebration. I had never been to a church that had all of this video stuff before the baptistism, and it did feel odd. I think thats just because I had never experienced it.

I want a church. I want a community of friends who are believers. I want fellowship. I desire a small group. I want many things.

There are people who read out blogs that are not believers or who do not feel the same way I do. I almost want to protect my writing so I will not offend anyone. I am not ashamed of my desires or my faith and I am glad that I have met so many cool people online and have gotten so much encouragement. I hope that I can encourage people who have shown encouragement to me.

Michael and I want to go back and visit. I want to have an open mind. Sooo many people have recommended this church and there is such a wonderful small group opportunity there.

Pray for us!!

On another note, many patients tonight tried to tell me what happenned in Shrek the third!! I was able to avoid any spoilers!!!

Who will win American Idol?
I dont care
I hate reality TV free polls

Its Monday-Prayer Day!!!

Just a reminder, we over at The Christopher Family adoption blog are inviting people to take the time today to pray for everything and everyone involved in the adoption process. Head on over if you would like to join this wonderful group!!!

Also, Michael made an interesting post on our church visit yesterday and wondered how you feel about the big contemporary churches..Head over to Valtools Box to read!

Sunday, May 20, 2007

Ya know those days when you just wonder why? I have been having those. Why am I so blessed? Why do I have a house and a wonderful husband, a fantastic family and a job I dreamed about when I was a little girl.

There are people who don't have homes, who are widowed, who have gone through natural disasters, who have beaten cancer only to have it come back again with a vengeance? Why? Why do parents lose their little ones? I have seen how one little life can touch and brighten thousands of lives. I am so not deserving of Gods blessings. It is only by His grace that I am alive today.

I have met so many new blogging friends and even have been contact with old ones. I love those kinds of things. I love to be excited about things, little things. You can ask my husband and family what makes me happy. I love the day after Thanksgiving. I love Christmas. I love the Macys Thanksgiving Day parade. I love coming home, turning the corner and seeing Michael's jeep there. That makes me smile.

I love squishy babies. I love patients who love me. I love patients who make my heart smile and those that make my heart cry. I love rejoicing with my friends. I love to dream. I love to plan vacations I may never go on. I love to think of the future.

I have been given more than I deserve. A lot of times, I want more. Why? Am I selfish? I want to give, I want to be thankful but I want want want. I am often ashamed of that.

Thanks for reading my vent.

What makes your heart smile?
Whats your heart song?

Fridays Feast

List 3 emotions you experienced this week.
happiness. we are close to our 1 month anniversary of our LID towards our adoption
heavy heart- have friends going through a difficult time
peace- sister was in town and we had some girl time

Name a car you’d love to have.
if there were no gas issues a big SUV but only if I didn't have to worry about parking. If not, I would love to have a blazer again..Just something safe

Describe your typical morning routine.
With working nights, I get home in the morning and watch tv with Lucy the basset hound. We try to take a quick walk around the circle but some times I am too tired and then I go to bed. If I haven't worked..wake up, gym, laundry, dishes and then nap
Main Course

Have you ever emailed someone famous? If so, who, and what did you say to them? Did they reply? There are a couple of contemporary Christian singers I have corresponded with. I emailed Delilah the radio host 6 years ago and she called me asking me to read my email on the air..I was embarrassed and said no!!

Do you listen to podcasts? If so, which ones?
Nope, don't have an IPOD or MP3 but really want one

sisters and other things

I am just sitting here watching season 2 of 90210 until I take my nap. I just realized I am working the next 5 nights..Ugh..Could be rough!

I had a nice visit with my sister and I started thinking about sisterhood. What a cool thing. I don't know much about brothers, but sisters have a special relationship, especially the ones that are pretty close together. No matter where you live, there is someone there for you. Whether its email, phone call or an actual visit, a sister is a permanent, guaranteed forever best friend.. Kelly and I didn't get along well when we were younger. I may be the oldest, but we have switched the role of big sister between the 2 of us for years.

Perhaps its because she got her license first, got married first or that she had babies first, she has a world of knowledge. Now the one thing we have in common is trivia. Neither one of us is good at it. The other night we whispered our answers to each other in case anyone heard them and they were wrong, haha!!!
As soon as she sees something that could be better for fixed, she gets to work..
My sister Kelly rocks and I am so glad when she gets to post on my blog. She gave me a niece and 2 nephews that are posted all over this blog.

enough about kelly. haha!!! She knows she is loved.

Michael posted a blog about little girls and sexual predators. There are many posts I do not agree on or are not passionate about, but this is one I very much agree on.. Check out Valtools Box and scroll down to read what he says about how some parents allow their children to dress. I would like to know your opinions on this, especially if you have young girls...Its okay to disagree!!!
Update at 9:21pm
My apologies..All my post was trying to say was I dont understand why girls (any age) wear shorts with words on their rear end. Its almost like you want someone to look there!> Thats all
I am so sorry it came across offensive at all. Please know that was not my intent!!!!!!

On another note, looking forward to the AI finale..Love them both but if Blake wins, there's gonna be a ruckus.

The contest is over and back to normal blogging. I just tell you to go visit Valtools Box and see the first picture. Even if you don't like small animals, you will love this.

If you are an AI fan, scroll down and tell us which one will win.

Rev Falwell died today. I have a few friends that went to Liberty University. I know there has been some controversy around him, but I know he will be missed by many.

Tomorrow at 230pm I am organizing a baby shower for some coworkers. I am not good at this at all, I hope they have a good time.

P.S A new blog design is coming. Thanks for the posts regarding our trip and our adoption. Coming up with a name is fun. We would love to hear your suggestions.

Need some help!

I need some help for those creative bloggers and although this has to do with our adoption, I thought I would ask for some help.

Michael and I were logged in to the China system 4/23/07. That means that every month on the 23rd, that is one month down on our waiting list. We want to do things to celebrate each month. One idea I had was to buy a book each month and start a collection. Other families add a stone or other object to something and take a picture. Do you have any ideas on what else we can do to help pass the time?

Come on creative people, HELP!!! What should we do?

Final Day of the Hunt!

Thanks so much for participating. Please remember me when you have free blog time! You have until THursday afternoon to catch up. I will announce prizes Thursday night/Friday Morning!

First, extra point for visiting and posting at Valtools Box! I love to plug hubbys blog and he has a post about sad songs and another post..Post on either or both.

Could be a long post

First off, the following blogs (plug!!!) have been recently updated!

The Christopher Family(prayer opportunity)
Valtool's Box - Michaels Ten on Tuesday
Especially Heather
The Christopher Quilt (quilt square 3 arrived this weekend)

This weekend was awesome, and a bit odd. Let me start from the beginning.

Last Thursday night, I worked until 7am. I came home and took Lucy for her weekend boarding and some doggie day care. I came home and slept from 930-130 and got ready for class. We are changing over to computerized charting tomorrow night so as a resource nurse, I take more classes than others. I didn't have to be that awake as it was a review, which I am thankful for. I got home around 10pm and Michael and I packed and got ready to leave. He was able to take an evening nap.

We stopped for a snack at McDonalds where I wanted a sandwich and a new Shrek milkshake which is advertised. Sweet Michael ordered and the dude at the window kept asking "Chocolate or Vanilla"? We were a bit confused because they only come in green. After a few frustrating moments, we had our unhealthy but tasty and delicious snack and away we went. Stopped for gas once and made it in record time. The only drama to take place was in Jacksonville. We crossed the big bridge and at the bottom were several police cars with their lights on. Michael slowed down and we noticed a car that had been in a serious accident..We kept driving but then I saw feet, feet under a white sheet. Okay, I am a nurse and I deal with death. I don't deal with it often and this freaked me out. I mean, in an instant, the mans life ended and others lives were affected..Was he married? Did he have kids? Was he going to visit his mom? Now I assume its a man because of the dress shoes. It made me sad and I said a prayer for his family..

We arrived in Edgewater at 530am and since it was a surprise and I didn't want to give my parents heart attacks, we slept in the car for an hour. We walked to the back door and noticed mom asleep on the couch. Yeah! We knocked lightly and boy was she surprised. We said hello and Michael went to sleep.

When I go to Edgewater, it is customary to visit some garage sales. I dont know why they have so many or so much cool junk, but they do. Typically sister Kelly goes with me, but this time I took Mom. What did I get you ask? 2 kids books, an Asian China Doll (if you are reading for the first time, Michael and I are adopting a baby girl from China), a DVD and book for Michael and a few other things. Mom got some cool clay pitcher things. I have no idea what you call them.

After visiting the sales, sister Kelly and Janie Seth and Owen came to visit and we got in the pool. Dang it was cold. That didn't last long. Michael went on an errand with my dad and to finish Mothers Day shopping. I took a nap and then we did our trip to Shells for dinner. Michael met us there and we all had a good time. After dinner, Kelly stayed and watched the Lost Daughters of China video with us. I was guess mom would cry before Kelly..I was wrong, I was the first to tear up. If you have not seen this and are interested in whats going on with our adoption, please ask me about it!!!!

After that, Michael and I and Mom and Dad watched Night at the Museum and my parents enjoyed it. Off to night night land.

Sunday morning,we got up hoping to hit Cracker Barrel for breakfast. Uhm, we saw the line and said no..7 Eleven hot dogs will have to do. I'm not kidding.

Once we got to Orlando, we parked outside Michael's moms house and called her to wish her a happy mothers day. It was cute. Michael rang the door bell and on the phone she says "Hold on, I think the Church people are back".!! Heehee. She opened the door and there we were! Another surprise!!!!

We took her out to lunch and came back on watched the China video again. I took another nap and was awoken at 5pm as we were walking over to Tim an Merry's house (Michael's brother) for dinner. We were able to visit with Basil who was oh so very sweet and friendly. I hope Michael got some cute pics..We hope to put some up.

After our visit, we walked back to Michael's moms house, gave her her gifts and watched the Survivor finale..Holy Cow!!! that's all I am saying..
After waking up every few hours (I had a hard time sleeping, must be because of that silly nap) I got up at 9 and Michael and his mom were awake. She always makes some chipped beef and gravy and its quite yummy. We watched some TV and packed the car and headed home and then I got surprise. Michael made a stop a uniform studio and pretty much said "Have Fun" and I got some new scrubs!!! Yeah for me!!!

After a quick stop at Publix for another healthy meal of subs, we came home, started laundry and watched the finale of How I Met Your Mother!! I love this show!!!

Once again, I tried to sleep an hour ago and was unsuccessful.. I'm heading back now!! Thanks for reading!

Thirteen Things about Amy
13 things I can not do with Lucy or the new kitty around
1.Dishes- Lucy likes to help load the dishwasher
2.Watch 2 hours of TV. For some reason Lucy likes to go bark at something. I do not think she does this with Michael around.
3.Laundry-Lucy loves clothes when they come out of the dryer
4.Eat a meal. Lucy thinks she needs to share. She does not bother Michael
5.Hold the new kitten. Lucy wants to eat her..or at least kiss her
6.Read a book. Lucy can not be still
7. I cant leave things anywhere. Lucy will eat them and take them outside
8. I have to put Lucy up anytime I go anywhere.
9. I cant take anything upstairs as lucy wants to join me
10. I worry that the kitten will get eaten or stepped on. So far, so good
11.My dog is spoiled. I am aware of this. I cant talk on the phone sometimes without telling Lucy to be quiet
12. I cant have a conversation with Michael longer than 5 minutes without Lucy wanting to chime in
13. I cant read a book unless Lucy is asleep

Wednesday Scavenger Hunt Questions

Okay, less than a week to go. Thanks for staying so active in this hunt! You guys are awesome

Today, we have 2 1/2 questions.. I say 1/2 because one is more of an activity than a question so you get the option whether to partipate or not. Do 2 out of the 3 questions. You can answer all 3 but no extra credit will be given. We have some partipants that have limited activity in their hands and I dont want to give anyone an unfair advantage!!!!

Here we go

1) Sara from Real Life recommended finding an interesting video or song on a blog. We have done a Youtube video before but this can be a home video. Let us know what you find out!!
2)Being that its almost Mothers Day find a blog whose owner has at least 3 children. In case we have duplicates, find an old post and let us know whats going on in their lives. This was Brandy's idea
3)Thanks to Larry, we are going to visit our friend Mr Potato Head or Mr.PicassoHead

. Go to
It may take you a minute to figure out how to do it, but its fun. If you have any questions, feel free to email Larry at
Click play and well, play.

Larry sent this email
When you save your picture on that site it gives you the option to send an e-mail to yourself or others. That e-mail gives you the link to your picture. I would suggest that to make your life easier, you emphasize the importance of sending themselves that e-mail so they can send the link to you to prove they did the PicassoHead challenge..

I tried this last night and I was not that good at. I know some of you are pretty creative so I would like to see what you can do!

BTW, does anyone know who our youngest participant is?

I have been interviewed

Cyndi has interviewed me with the following questions, so here goes! If you would like to be interviewed, just read the information that follows.

1.what is your favorite memory with Michael? Wedding and honeymoon were by far..The whole month of October 2001 was the greatest of my life. Our adoption adventure has been by far the biggest blessing.

2. what is your favorite childhood memory? I treasure my memories as a child. I'm sure little sister Kelly will find this. Christmastime and vacations brought so much joy. OH yeah, also going out to dinner after church. we rarely went out and it was always a special treat to do so

3.who was your first crush? How old were you? How did you met and did you get together?
First crush was Bryan Morgan from Westminster Christian School in Rock Hill, SC. In 5th grade i transferred to York Road Elementary and he was there as well. We met in school but no, there was no 5th grade dating their. Then there was Ted Stefanic in 7th grade who still doesnt know who I am. I was such a dork that I thought he would like me if I was friends with his sister..I used to put his jacket on and pretend I was his girlfriend..I had a great imagination.ONce again, I am, I mean was a Dork!

4.what are some of the events that have shaped your life good and bad?things that have changed you forever?9/11 We found out that Michael had gotten a job in Atlanta and that we would be moving right after the wedding. It changed my life forever. I now have a fear of flying. Its not a phobia, and I will be flying to China in the next few years, but that day is always in my mind. High School- being involved in Key CLub, Youth Group and HOSA. It is these things plus my family that have made me a pediatric nurse today. I am living my dream.

5.what would you want your message to the world to be?what is the most important lesson you have learned and want to share??NO matter what kind of attitude you have at a particular time and no matter what the world has thrown at you,you can be happy and you can help others be happy. There is always someone that needs a smile. God uncondtional love and his grace and mercy is the greatest gift we will ever receive.

Now its your turn to play if you wish!
Leave me a comment saying, "Interview me." I will respond by asking you five questions. I get to pick the questions, and I will message or comment you with them and these directions. Just update your blog with the answers to the questions and include this explanation and an offer to interview someone else in the same post. When others comment asking to be interviewed, you will ask them five questions

Todays questions are from participants in the hunt!!!

1) Thanks to Dewey, find a post with a book recommendation!! Someone is always reading a good book!

2)From Amy at Laughing Through Tears, find a blog that has a recipe on it. It doesnt have to be recent, and let us know what it is!!!

its Sunday

Last night of work was busy, but not too difficult. I had precious families and really enjoyed the time with them.
Left work on time, stopped to get some Muchkins and a newspaper before I rested before the Braves game. Apparently we both napped and missed the game with was okay. Michael watched the race on the game on tv, and we watched last weeks LOST episode..

Hopefully a movie and dinner tonight. We have also spent some time playing with Pixel, the new kitten. Lucy does not like being locked up while we play with kitty. She does in fact like Munchkins.

We are almost done with the firsts week of the hunt and its been really fun. I am glad I am only doing for 2 weeks and have learned so much from the participants that my next one will be awesome..

Hoping to take my first pics of the our quilt squares tonight and then resting..Working tomorrow and then trivia tues and wed so more good times are coming...

Links to Pixel are in a post below..

Hope everyone is enjoying their time with their families..Pray for Heather!!!

Friday Night update

Michael and I just got back from our First Friday group and what an emotional time it was! Details to be posted on the adoption blog tomorrow. Its 1030, I am watching Clueless and I am pretty tired. Lots of things going on my mind, not necessarily bad. Too many to even try to write down.

Praying for Heather and family tonight!!!!!

Clue for tomorrow: Outside of the US
To sign up for the scavenger hunt, click here
for those playing, extra point for posting on hubbys blog today and or his Friday Flashback and for posting on Brandys Blog (number 72). Yes, i keep a total of all extra points, since so many have asked. I actually enjoy it and will pick another random blogger ro read for extra points soon. i think its fun for one blogger to get a bunch of new posts in one day..if it is you blog I chose, you get a point just for being you!!!!

Saturday Photo Hunt- Childhood

When I think of childhood, I think of my niece and nephews. Here are Janie and Seth. You will never find pictures of myself on here..Haha!!!

Chilling on my day off, waiting for the new Christopher household addition to arrive (a new kitten), blogging, and watching 90210. Fun stuff. I am reading a good number of blog participants today and there is so much interesting stuff.

I think I am going to check out a neighborhood yard sale tomorrow which I have not done for a long time. Michael and I have our adoption support group tonight and we are having dinner at Bahama Breeze with friends before that! SHould have a good time!

So you like 80s music? Do you know any of the videos over at Valtools Box? What was your favorite 80s song or album?

Scavenger Hunt- Day 4

1) Find 2 blogs that are participating in the hunt that have something in common. This could technically have hundreds of answers and you can be as creative as you want. Make sure you post on both of them. Tell us what you found and what they have in common.

2) State a fact about me, Amy. There are many on this blog. No duplicate answers can be allowed. This should be pretty easy!

Continue to pray for Heather and her family. Her surgery was yesterday!!

Way to go the with the posts yesterday! Everyone did a great job! Sparky Duck even admitted he was having fun with this on his blog..Apparently he is going for the Chik Fil A Gear.. There are some great contests out there and I can not wait to try some! I hope everyone was able to find a blog to visit that needed some encouragment!!!

Dont Forget Friday Flashback if you like 80s music!!!
By the way, if someone else can find a picture of the mascot of where Michael went to school, an extra point for you!!!!! To the person who already found it, way to go!!!
I originally said no points because I thought everyone would just copy everybody elses but I figured out thats not the case! If you post it on your own blog, that fixes that problem

Im heading to do some more blog reading!!!!! Just stopped by to visit Rachel. Her son sounds so stinking cute.Check out what he said this morning..This is fun..Thanks again guys!
