It's sad to think that there are so many children (and adults) out there that do not have good memories of this wonderful holiday!

I remember hanging out with family, playing games and eating lots of goodies! I also remember lighting the advent candle and doing special reading every day about the "real" reason we have the holiday.Frazzled Farm Wifehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10670912081102882168noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35838465.post-13906418897827484252008-12-02T18:02:00.000-08:002008-12-02T18:02:00.000-08:00I'm happy that you had such a lovely childhood. I would love for him to be able to look back fondly on his childhood!Nataliahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14999334781498930101noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35838465.post-80349832207208659252008-12-02T17:40:00.000-08:002008-12-02T17:40:00.000-08:00I think of family and food. Christmas is the best time to solidify our family unity. I try to do this throughout the year but during the holidays it takes on a whole different meaning.

I am sure you will give awesome memories to your daughter when she gets here.Josehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17057386419079395375noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35838465.post-75161130552565724282008-12-02T03:52:00.000-08:002008-12-02T03:52:00.000-08:00Christmas really is the time of year that evokes c...Christmas really is the time of year that evokes childhood memories, isn't it? I searched e-bay last month for a 1950's Christmas elf that I remember our neighbors having under their tree. The neighbors were like grandparents to us and we always went over for a visit on Christmas eve. I found the elf, but he's a bit older than the one I remember (but then again, so am I).
I have fun memories of the Christmas tree, and waiting for Santa, and trying to peek down the stairs to see what he brought, Christmas cookies, the childrens mass at our church and so much more. I hope that my own children will have wonderful memories of Christmas :)ChupieandJ'smama (Janeen)https://www.blogger.com/profile/12367131116081742274noreply@blogger.com
