THANKSGIVING EDITION
Here's how it goes: I'll start the game off at the bottom of this post by choosing two words or phrases, like coffee or tea, and which ever one you prefer you choose. You can also explain why. When you have done that you do two new words or phrases for the next commenter to choose from. Feel free to come back as often as you like. Just have fun. Ham... Unless it is deli sliced turkey, it all seems quite dry...

Mashed potatoes or Yams/sweet potatoes?
Mashed potatoes w/ lots of butter, but lets get to real stuff
Pecan Pie or Fudge ?
I'm going with Pecan Pie, I LOVE it. I'm not a big fudge fan...believe it or not I'm a woman who doesn't like things that are too chocolatey.
Fried turkey or turkey from the oven?
I'm going to try to fry a turkey this year...we'll see how it goes.

Thanksgiving: Your house or somewhere else?
My house - only ever did other houses of family members including TWO dinners in one day back in 2000 as it was announce the engagement time.
Football or Parades?
I HATE football, so i guess it's parades by default, but I am not a big watch parades on TV kind of person either...
Thanksgiving lunch or dinner?
Lunch if someone else cooks, dinner if I cook.
Can/jar gravy or homemade?
Lunch....because then you can have leftovers for dinner!
Crunchy topped dressing or soft-gooey dressing?
Mmmm, I don't care either way as long as I have a bunch of my SIL's dressing! If I only had that to eat on turkey day I would be a happy girl!
Put up Christmas tree as soon as you clear the dishes or wait until everyone leaves so they don't think you're crazy! Or are we the only ones that do this?

fake tree, too many allergies and asthma in our house.
white lights or colored lights on the tree?
Both - the more lights the better!
Does Santa bring presents wrapped or unwrapped?
for us it was always wrapped.
Stocking full of candy/small toys or stocking full of toiletries
(one of those was a startling surprise learned from my in-laws family)

Oh, that's tough, I love them both, but I'd have to pick White Christmas.
