Amy . . .

What would you like to know? I am fun, but crazy. I have a most perfect husband, and 2 cats named Samson and Delilah. We are presently working on adopting a little girl from China and have a separate blog for that. I am a Christian and am working on a better relationship with him. I live in the Atlanta area and love sharing stories with people. I am also a pediatric nurse and I love it! I love to talk and meet new people and I love Disney Cruising

its almost Christmas time

Can't wait for the season to officially be here. Michael and I have tried to do a Christmas party every this year but this year because of several reasons, we are going to do something different. We want some more personal times with our friends, so we are inviting people over for dinner and a Christmas movie on different dates.. So, if you live in Atlanta and want to come over and have dinner and some Christmas cheer, let me know!!!

everyone is on a budget this year, but i want to hear some creative, inexpensive ways to get into the Christmas spirit???? ideas???

You know, we are very traditional here and sentimental. I put up close to the same decorations each year, and may add a piece here or there. But the kids love to see the same things. We watch the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade every Thanksgiving Morning. We listen to the same classical music. Tradition is priceless (literally).

I think that sounds like a great idea! I love the idea of an intimate dinner with friends just enjoying each other's company and reveling in the season!

I wish I was better at coming up with frugal ideas, but mine are all pretty lame. LOL That's why I go to Money Saving Mom...that woman is amazing!!

May all your days be merry and bright this holiday season Amy!

Well you could do something old fashioned while watching your Christmas movie like stringing popcorn and cranberries for a garland? I think dinner and a movie with friends individually is a lovely idea! More one on one time! :)
