Thursday 13 Thirteen things about the Rushing Howell/Howell-Rushing wedding weekend 1. Jeff and Val were married. 2. It was a beautiful ceremony and reception 3. I saw friends from college that I had not seen in years. Jenny and Steven are another lovely couple. I lived with Jenny one summer and she was also a neighbor for a few years. I have gotten a few my space messages from Kevin and Robyn and I got to meet them. Too much fun!!!! They have not changed. They both made me laugh!!! 4. I had lunch with old college roomies Jenny and LeeAnne before the ceremony 5. I spent the weekend in Jackson, Tn at Sara B’s house and got to play with her puppy 6. I met several Rushing family members who I have been exchanging emails and blogposts with over the past few months. All of which are very cool 7. I had dinner at O’Charleys, my favorite restaurant in college 8. Michael and I had lunch (not really, just visited) with his dad on the way home 9. The weather could not have been any prettier.. 10. Jeff and Val looked gorgeous, happy, giddy, in love, etc. 11. I got to talk to Jeff’s grandma who gets online. She is a pretty cool lady 12. My husband and Jenny’s husband enjoyed using the disposable camera on the table 13. We walked around the church, including the nursing wing. We looked at the baby names on the door and realized that many people use city and states for their children’s names. To summarize, it was a lovely, beautiful, romantic weekend. Truly a good time was had by all!!!!!!! I am blessed and honored to have been invited. See other posts for details regarding the lovely couple who are now honeymooning in Jamaica! I can not wait for them to get settled in, as they will be living in Atlanta and will be available for socializing. To anyone who was there, I enjoyed meeting you and hope to see you again sometime! Sounds beautiful! I haven't been to a wedding in forever! I can't seem to get through them without crying though!
Sounds like a gorgeous wedding. Glad you had such a great time! :) I've had a wedding every month lately -- September, October, November. I was a bridesmaid for the last two....ENOUGH! ;)
Glad you had such a fun time.
Amazing how a wedding brings two families together. When our daughter got married we had a great time with her in-laws.
Thanks for sharing,
Frances
Glad you had such a great time! Last wedding I attended was my own. My college friends are still unattached.
I am truly a sap for weddings. Is there anything more romantic?
Mine's up at this site

I'm going to tell you what I told your hubby ~ I HATE Blogger.
Here I go writing this message again...
Wow, you had a lot of visitors this week! Thanks for stopping by to "meet" Angelina. I saw her today and swear she's even cuter!
I'm so happy you were able to get away and enjoy time with your hubby and friends. I'm so jealous, too! :) Just kidding ~ it was wonderful to hear all the details of your fun wedding weekend!
Aww, I loved reading about the wedding! I don't know Jeff, but I've been reading his blog for a while, having found the link at another Union person's blog, so it's been neat seeing him fall in love and get engaged and married. Glad you got to attend!
(And I'm officially jealous that you were in Jackson. ;)
Thanks for visiting my TT!

Yup, sounds like a wonderful weekend. Thanks for sharing! :)
Thanks for stopping by my list yesterday too. I'm off to check out your names now...
I hate weddings. I hate them so much I even got married in Vegas to make as little fuss as possible. LOL! I'm so glad you were able to enjoy your friends' moment.
City and state names make for nice names, I think. We named our kitty Nevada and have gotten comments on it wherever she goes. I have also had pets named Tallahassee and Malibu. My husband is terrified for our future children. :-)
Thanks for dropping by my TT!
Sounds like a lovely time! What color were the bridesmaid dresses?
sounds like memories to cherish were made for all.
want to have fun with baby name hunting? check out the site Think Baby Names:

I just used it to name my NaNoWriMo novel characters. It gives you etymology of the names and alternate spellings and related names lets you search for names by their meanings too.
Thanks for visiting my TT

Sounds like a fabulous weekend... Congrats to the newlyweds! Thanks for leaving a comment on my T13 :)
I like your list! Hey, just noticed you are from Kennesaw. My husband is originally from Marietta. His family is down there still. He went to Woodstock Baptist when he lived there. Small world!
My TT is up!
Sounds like a great time. I know I'm a little late, but you know better late than never :)
