Amy . . .

What would you like to know? I am fun, but crazy. I have a most perfect husband, and 2 cats named Samson and Delilah. We are presently working on adopting a little girl from China and have a separate blog for that. I am a Christian and am working on a better relationship with him. I live in the Atlanta area and love sharing stories with people. I am also a pediatric nurse and I love it! I love to talk and meet new people and I love Disney Cruising

Happy thoughts coming your way Ms. Amy. I do miss your comments however!! I know all about the work thing. I so want to be a stay at home mom. Gotta get out of all these bills first, and we are working on that!

Amy,

Since you love Christmas so much I was wondering if you or your readers celebrate St. Nicholas day. I did not growing up but since it is a big holiday in Ukraine we would like to do something. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Sankt Niklaus Tag. I remember learning about it in German class and we always knew about it in my family because it is my younger brother's birthday, December 6th.

From what I recall, the legend comes from a monk who minstered to the ladies of ill repute. His ministry, leaving aide overnight later translated to kids in Europe leaving their shoes on the doorstep on the eve of the 6th and they would awake to find small toys, candy, etc in their shoes. You can see how this translates later into Santa Claus, St. Nick(laus).

hi Amy ---

It's Tuesday morning here but I still thought I'd share what was on my mind :-)

I love God, and I love children (particularly my own), and I love my husband.

I also thought I'd leave these verses with you:

Numbers 6:24-26
24 "The LORD bless you and keep you;
25 the LORD make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you;
26 the LORD turn his face toward you and give you peace."
