Amy . . .

What would you like to know? I am fun, but crazy. I have a most perfect husband, and 2 cats named Samson and Delilah. We are presently working on adopting a little girl from China and have a separate blog for that. I am a Christian and am working on a better relationship with him. I live in the Atlanta area and love sharing stories with people. I am also a pediatric nurse and I love it! I love to talk and meet new people and I love Disney Cruising

It happenned again

I got teared up. Walked into work last night and saw the Christmas decorations. Sooo pretty and yet so sad. To think that several families will spend Christmas in the hospital makes me sad. Hope we can do our best to make it a nice Holiday for the families.

Hope you guys are having a nice weekend. Getting ready to work my third night in a row but hoping it will be okay knowing I have the next week off.

Also pray for a sweet little girl I took care of last week. I learned last night she was diagnosed with leukemia. What a life change for the little girl and her family..

Hope I have something interesting to post about tomorrow..

Ill leave you with a question..

Have you seen a good movie lately or is there a movie you are looking forward to?

I love holiday movies so the new Hoffman movie and the Fred Clause movies look good to me.

I wanted to see The Golden Compass, but when I found out the controversy behind it, decided against it. Think I'll stick with Fred Clause as well.

I know you all are going to make the holidays better for those in your care.

Blessings,

Susan

I still think Golden Compass looks interesting, but I'll wait to see it for free, thus not actually supporting it monetarily. My brother works at a video store, so he takes home movies to preview to know what to recommend to people.
We just saw American Gangster, which was great! I'm really looking forward to seeing the next National Treasure movie and Sweeney Todd!

I read at review that said the Hoffman movie was really good. I wasn't sure at first if it was a rip off of Willy Wonka. I can't wait to start watching all the holiday classics!

I'll be praying for the little girl and her family. I can't even imagine and pray that I'll never be put in that situation.

Hope you and your sweet hubby have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

I can't imagine having to spend Christmas in the hospital. What a hard thing that would be. The little girl will be in my prayers.

There are two movies I'm looking forward to watching this Christmas season - On Moonlight Bay and By the Light of the Silvery Moon with Doris Day. Oldies but goodies - my family watches them every year!

I saw Fred Claus, and I was not really all that thrilled with it. There were some sweet moments, but overall it just left me feeling kind of hollow, basically because the message had nothing to do with the "real" Christmas; what it boiled down to is that every kid deserves a toy on Christmas.

I'm excited about National Treasure and about the movie August Rush, which opens Wednesday. It's rated PG and it looks like a really great story.

How sad for the people who have to spend the holidays at the hospital. I will pray for the little girl.

As sad as it is to spend the holidays in the hospital, they will be fortunate to have you there to care for them :)

We've mostly been renting movies lately, Transformers was the latest! But I've had several people tell me they've seen Dan in Real Life and loved it!
