What would you like to know? I am fun, but crazy. I have a most perfect husband, and 2 cats named Samson and Delilah. We are presently working on adopting a little girl from China and have a separate blog for that. I am a Christian and am working on a better relationship with him. I live in the Atlanta area and love sharing stories with people. I am also a pediatric nurse and I love it! I love to talk and meet new people and I love Disney Cruising

Todays Chrisstmas question

What are your favorite hiding places for Christmas presents?

Did you ever look and find your Christmas gifts as a child?

Okay so call me lame, but I never really tried to look for my presents. We were not allowed into my parents' room so I am sure that is where they hid them.
We are trying to find a place to hide presents since our children do have access to our room (right now, that might change!!) Right now the gifts are still more or less "hidden" in plain sight. (the kids are 2.5 and 6 months) I know that we are going to have to do a better job next year.
I look forward to reading the comments for ideas!

When I was growing up,my parents hide our gifts in closets and under beds. The big items were hidden at neighbor's houses...We did not peek before Christmas , we like surprises. Now days I wrap gifts as soon as I buy them..Even with gifts wrapped up,people like to shake and guess what is inside.I will not tell..

My parents didn't buy me presents. They just me $5-20.

I like to hide presents in my filing cabinet or closet. Sometimes I hid my wife's present with the other presents under the tree.

I don't think my mom and dad usually got anything until the last minute for the most part. I think my mom use to hide presents in the trunk of the car and that is where I hide presents too.

I never peaked either, but once I knew I had a present wrapped under the tree we did use to shake then or weigh them to kindda get an idea of what if might be. We hide our presents in the car and then as soon as the kids go to sleep we bring them in and they are immediately wrapped and placed under the tree, the kids are already excited because they know they are for them.

As I live with a roomate, I don't really need to worry about hiding presents this year. As a child I never looked - it was more fun when it was a surprise. :P

Well, currently in the nursery in the closet of chaos, where I know the hubs is far too frightened to look...

We don't really hide our presents anymore, I do have a couple for my mom tucked into a bookshelf and hidden behind some things, but that's only because they're easily identified even wrapped.

And I was definitely snoopy around Christmas time, but I only searched after I was pretty sure my mom had had time to wrap my presents because I never wanted to know ahead of time what I was getting -- I just wanted to see the wrapped gifts! ;) I still love the surprise of opening presents on Christmas morning, so I'm never one to try and carefully untape one end of a present to see what it is.

Hiding places in our house are: trunk of the car, our basement, and the nursery.

Did I peak as a child? I cannot tell a lie...yes a couple of times and felt terrible about it so never did it again!

We have drawers underneath our bed that are hard to get to so it's the perfect place to hide them!

And as much as I loved suprises I always tried to find my presents. One year I found all of them and I had a really hard time acting suprised as I opened them! I never looked again. Apparently I am not a good actor..teehee!
