My challenge is for you to reply and post some nice things you have done for your significant other. I want to hear favorite dates, special memories. What a great challenge! I, too, love my man. His name is Matt and we've been together for over 7 years.

Things I've done for him? Little stuff like taking his nightly water glasses to the kitchen (and so he's dubbed me the Cup Fairy). :) I rub the knots out of his back whenever he asks (and these are some big knots!). I tell him I love him every day, multiple times a day and insist on "good" kisses and hugs so that we can literally feel the love between us.

Matt is truly the best man I've ever known. He's my best friend and he's made me the best I've ever been. I wouldn't be complete without him. And now I'm tearing up thinking about it so I'm done! :)

I make Josh lunch every day....
I used to bake for him (but haven't had time since the monkey was born....
That's all I can think of right now. The food thing is huge, though, because I totally don't have the time for it with the baby! ...I should make more time...maybe we'll have a date this weekend. Thanks for the inspiration! :)

mmm . . . . let me think. I have gone out to find and buy him the coin set from the year my stepdaughter was born, that made him cry. I want to do it for my daughter as well. I surprised him with a candle-lit dinner.

after the baby was born, we started "date night" every friday night. we try not to break it no matter what, and if we have to we reschedule. after a lot of frustration during the week, especially during the sleepless nights of new baby, it gives us a chance to "reset" and start over, and we get to reconnect and have fun while making time for each other. This is by far the best thing we've done since having the baby. Otherwise, our frustration would have eventually snowballed and we would have stopped communicating. Believe it or not, we're a stronger couple and stronger parents because we nurture our own relationship. I love it! Oh and we never ever leave each other (on the phone or in person) without saying I love you. I know it's little things, but they make such a difference. I loved your list!

My husband and I aren't super romantic ~ the few romantic times we've had are really special.

A tradition that we've started, though, is actually a Thanksgiving one. I've always loved the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. My husband never watched it until we started dating in 1998. I made him come to my parents' house in his pajamas and watch it with me on Thanksgiving mornings until we were married...now I make Cinnamon Buns for breakfast and we stay in our PJs and watch it together. This is something we are hoping to do with our kids as they grow up! :)

Oh! I'll share one of my favorite things I did for my DH for the first valentine's we were together. A club I was in (at college) was selling carnations and hand delivering them Valentine's morning. Some of my best friends were in the club with me, so I had them deliver a special present to my DH (then-boyfriend) while we were eating in the cafeteria - a 5 foot red plush skunk:) He wasn't embarrassed, he's a very open, lovey, stuffed animal kind of guy. He was speechless though :)

I think he might tell you his favorite thing I did for him was for his bday last year - I secretly got him tickets to a WWE wrestling event. He was pretty happy about that too lol.

Little things... like Christie, we never leave/get off the phone w/o saying "I love you," we always blow kisses at each other (and "catch" them in the air, and pull them to our heart) when I drop him off at work. I like sneaking surprises into his lunch, but he likes to pack his own so that's tricky.
