Amy . . .

What would you like to know? I am fun, but crazy. I have a most perfect husband, and 2 cats named Samson and Delilah. We are presently working on adopting a little girl from China and have a separate blog for that. I am a Christian and am working on a better relationship with him. I live in the Atlanta area and love sharing stories with people. I am also a pediatric nurse and I love it! I love to talk and meet new people and I love Disney Cruising

Still feeling yucky but determined to get the Christmas tree decorated. I did find someone to cover 4 hours of my shift tonight. So I will work 11p-7a tonight, Saturday night and next Monday night and then I have a few days off again to get organized and stuff.

Not much else to report. I have recorded about 12 TV Christmas movies and I am on the last one now with Lucy the basset hound behind me. She has decided her new favorite snack is our favorite pens.

Is there anyone else out there who needs to lose a lot of weight but keeps making excuses? I have no idea whats wrong with me. Right now I have the same excuse..My shoes. My feet seriously hurt when I walk more than 10 minutes on the treadmill. A coworker said I need more support and Laura suggested getting a bigger size..Any ideas?

Michael has really been posting lately..Go visit his Christmas blog here.

I have taken a few weeks off from doing those memes that I have come to love. Stay tuned. I will be back later with a new poll, a fun question and who knows what else..

P.S I still haven't seen the Folgers commercial that makes me cry every year. You know the one where the college son comes home and wakes everyone up with the smell of coffee...

Yikes, 11pm to 7 am? That's gotta be tough! As far as the losing weight - I suggest getting a pedometer. Wearing one will make you think about excersize more and you'll be more likely to take the long way.

I am definitely one who needs to lose weight and am fully aware of that fact, but there seems to be some sort of disconnect in my mind because I can't motivate myself to actually do anything about it. Maybe I should be on Biggest Loser. :)

Have you tried buying walking sneakers? I bought a pair a few months ago and they are so comfy, yet I still don't get on the treadmill. I keep saying after Christmas, but who knows.

I really need to lose some weight too. I have been exercising pretty regularly lately, but I know that I also have to watch what I eat. I am hoping to continue to exercise in December and then start watching what I eat in January. I just bought new shoes I got Rebock cross trainers but I am still not sure they are the right shoe. I have my tree up and we plan to decorate it this weekend. One of my favorite ornaments is the Hallmark adoption ornament we got the year we adopted Isabella. I hope you get some rest and start to feel better.

My dad has foot problems – super strength ibuprofen works for him! (Doctor prescribed of course.) Seriously though, if you have a high arch, then you could try using foot insoles that are very firm; if not, you could try the regular ones like Dr. Scholl’s. Maybe that will help!

As far as losing weight goes, I’ve lost a lot in the past 3 months from being sick without trying. Don’t recommend that option at all. It helps having someone to exercise with - my dad and I like to walk together.

I’m addin’ ya to my "Blogs I Read" list finally, if that’s okay. :-) Feel better soon!

Amy we are competing on the Christmas movie watching. lol I just can't get enough of them. They are showing a new one this week with Mario Lopez that looks like it's going to be fun.

I need to lose a little weight, but with a mom and a wife that cook deliciously I find that hard to do.

I had made weight loss excuses for a few years now...and finally hooked myself up with a personal trainer. It's the best thing I've done. My feet bother me a lot and he has shown me ways to burn without stressing them as much as the treadmill does. You can do it!

Hope you're feeling better soon.

Man, hate to hear you are feeling yucky. I can't believe the Folgers commercial isn't on either. I have been looking forward to seeing young Peter coming home for Christmas. The man has to be ancient now. It was on T V when I was a kid. Not saying much but hey, you know what I mean. I ll have to update you soon on our new little one. Have fun with the tree!
