Amy . . .

What would you like to know? I am fun, but crazy. I have a most perfect husband, and 2 cats named Samson and Delilah. We are presently working on adopting a little girl from China and have a separate blog for that. I am a Christian and am working on a better relationship with him. I live in the Atlanta area and love sharing stories with people. I am also a pediatric nurse and I love it! I love to talk and meet new people and I love Disney Cruising

Amy I took some extra days off just to enjoy the holiday. I love Christmas, but I hate that the stores try to gloss over the holiday and on to the shopping! I am having the traditional dinner this year. Turkey, stuffing, corn, biscuits......

My mom is cooking EVERYTHING this year. WE just have to show up.

We have a small zoo near us that puts up lights for Christmas. You drive through with your car, and you can feed the deer. They come right up and eat out of your hands! They open Thanksgiving night, and we try to go every year. The kids love it!

Love Thanksgiving. Normally we'd spend it with our huge extended family...but this year, we've decided to slow things down and do our own Thanksgiving, to really concentrate on Thanking the Lord for all His bounty, both to us and our Country. I'm really looking forward to it.

We're doing Turkey, Stove-top stuffing, skin-on garlic mashed potatoes, Sweet Potato-Pecan casserole, corn, cranberry sauce, green beans and a veggie platter with ranch dip. We plan to have it early (lunch time), so that for dinner we can have leftover turkey sandwiches with avocado slices and Lays potato chips. Leftover turkey always gets made into Chicken Wild Rice soup. MMmmmm.

I came in to wish you a happy Thanksgiving, Amy. Looks like you are hosting this year. Woo Hoo! I hope it all goes well. I'm sure whatever happens it will loads of fun at your house.

I'm just having a traditional Thanksgiving dinner. Nothing special (I'm so boring, I know).

God bless.

I'm in Canada so we already had our Thanks Giving about a month ago, but Happy Thanks Giving to you!

Our Thanks Giving meals generally consist of Turkey, peas, mashed potatoes, caramelized carrots, yams, cranberry jelly (not sauce, jelly), stuffing and then pumpkin pie for dessert if we can even move!

Being Hispanic Thanksgiving is an adopted holiday for us. But being thankful has nothing to do with where you are from, right? We do get together as a family and enjoy the feast that is specially prepared for the celebration. It's trully one of the best holidays of the year.
