Just got home from work and I was surprised to see Michael and LynnMarie up. She wasn't acting right last night and Michael was worried..As I expected, he did fine..It was a wonderful feeling to see her smiling and to get a great big hug..I can not believe how much I love this little girl..Its a most amazing feeling.As people told me I would, I can see how my parents did certain things to and for me just because they loved me. I do see my parents in a different light.
Someone asked me what the hardest part has been. She has been a wonderful baby, a very smooth adjustment. The hardest part for me is losing weight again. I was doing so well. Between Michael being in the hospital and not being able to walk, I have found no time to go to the gym. I am sure the time i s there, but I am just not getting there. I'm snacking more which is not good as I want LynnMarie to have good eating habits. We are trying to make sure she gets her fruits and veggies every day..Anyway...
I wish you could all meet this precious gift..Don't forget to check the adoption blog for new pics and updates..
SO what cheap activities are you doing this summer? We have been to the pool a few times and LynnMarie and I go to music/story time at the library.Regal movie theaters are showing free family moves Tues-Thurs at 1oam so I would like to try that again too!!

I'm so glad things are going so well with Lynn Marie.
If you don't have time to go the gym, you should look into getting some workout DVDs you can do at home. I recommend Leslie Sansone. She makes walking DVDs that you can do in the living room or wherever, they don't require a lot of space, they're easy to follow but great workouts, and you can do one mile or three or four or five depending on how much time you have. SparkPeople.com also has a bunch of free videos that are mostly 10 minutes long that you could check out!
I am so glad that everything is going well. I truly believe that every child finds their perfect family. It's too big of an issue for God to leave to chance. He is the guide.
We have a lot of get togethers with family and friends this summer, so we are keeping busy and not paying much anything.

Free activities?
Have you taken LM to a pet store? We go at least once a week.Gone to Olympic park to play in fountains?
You can also hike, walk, take a picnic to Kennesaw Mtn., parks, playgrounds, art pprojects, beach at Red Top or Cauble Park in Acworth, play dough, cooking, library, bike, read...the fun is endless!
We still love our library best when we need an air conditioned play space, plus lots of activities for 2 - 3 year olds; and renting DVD's for AA. Sometimes stop by the grocery store for a piece of fruit for her and we name all the veggies and fruit in the produce section. Walking through the neighborhood with AA pushing her doll stroller, stop by the hardware store and show her all the free paint color samples and describe shades of colors....... I must say, we sound boring!! Hope you get more ideas!

yall rock! If I showed LM the paint samples, she would eat them!!! Shes not walking yet but loves the stroller and outside..Our library story time is on hiatus during Aug and I thought about trying one of the free Regal klds movies..
Erin, I actually have a LeslieSansone video. I should get it out.. Im ready (I hope) to be a good example for my awesome daughter..We are heading to FL one more time this summer so seeing family is also on the agenda.
