Remembering Diana today. Where were you 10 years ago? I was in the hospital trying to have Anthony....watching the horror on TV......ended up not having him until Sept 4th...they sent me home.....
I thought about this this morning as well. 10 years ago I was sitting in a cabin in Pigeon Forge on a great vacation with just me and my mom. CJ had to work so my mom and I took our own little vacation together. It was great and a wonderful memory for me. Sad that I remembered it today because of the tradegy though.
I was in New Smyrna Beach, FL finishing out my summer internship alone with my boyfriend's mom as he'd already returned to VA for the school year. Crazy times. I met Amy 9 months later! :)
I was in jackson, Tn driving when I heard the news..
Hmmm... no, I don't remember where I was 10 years ago today, but I do recall the Summer of '97 being the best summer of my teenage years! :P
I was in West Yellowstone, Montana, on vacation with my new hubby and his family. Coming back from the Playmill Theatre, I noticed the television on in the hotel's lounge. By the time I got to the room, I was hysterical.
(Yeah, I was one of "those" people.)
I stayed up all night watching the coverage. I'm sure my then-new in-laws didn't appreciate it (we were sharing a room).
Oh well.
Hard to believe it's been ten years.
Wow.
I did stay up to see the funeral. I was in my dorm room. Is there anything going on in your city this weekend?
Florida and Western Kentucky tomorrow. I simply cannot containg my EXCITEMENT!!! Expect a post on this soon. It will be the icing on the cake if Memphis can beat Ole Miss, and if OU can beat North Texas! Oh yeah, its FOOTBALL TIME:-)
any other football fans out there? Seem to be a fun hobby but I just have not gotten into it..Im not against it..Anyone want to recommend a team for me to cheer on?
I think the Indianaplois Colts play this weekend...but I'm not into football...but I have much respect for Tony Dungy.
