Oh Amy, you do ask some tough questions! Having had a wonderful childhood it's hard to choose.
One of them would have to be just being a kid! Getting up in the morning and spending the rest of the day playing outside with your friends, only coming in to grab a quick bite and your back out again. Running in the fields, rolling down the grassy hills and riding bikes and laughing the entire time! You get so dirty that you HAVE to take a bath before bed. And when you do go to bed you are so exhausted from playing so hard you drift off to sleep and dream of doing it all over again the next day!
Now I'm going to sit back and daydream a little about what it used to be like! Thanks for the fun question Amy. I hope you are having a terrific weekend!
Favorite memory from my childhood?? Well - I have many, but one is of family vacations - I LOVED travelling with my family! And, they always had me read out loud to all of them in the car - it was sweet and I remember it fondly!!!!
By the way - the mug is adorable!!! And I LOVE coffee, so I would put it to good use!!
Hi Amy, My favorite childhood memory is having every Friday night a family night out together. We would go to the drive-in movies in our PJ's and enjoy our popcorn and drinks. There was no air condition...the speakers fit on the car window. This was always a fun time..My youngest sister got to sit on top of books to have a better view and my brother and I would complain..Times have changed...
I would love to win the coffee mug.It is posted on my blog.
Thanks, Baba
Oh, I got in here in time for this cool contest!
My favorite childhood memory? there are so many, but I like the one where we went to the beach with my whole family. My father was home and we spent the whole day swimming and talking. It's so ordinary, but we don't get to see my father often, so that was really fun.
Going to get ice cream at the store while riding on the tailgate of my daddy's truck (even though you can't do that now) - what fun to sit there licking your cone!
you don't live very far from me at all!
