Amy . . .

What would you like to know? I am fun, but crazy. I have a most perfect husband, and 2 cats named Samson and Delilah. We are presently working on adopting a little girl from China and have a separate blog for that. I am a Christian and am working on a better relationship with him. I live in the Atlanta area and love sharing stories with people. I am also a pediatric nurse and I love it! I love to talk and meet new people and I love Disney Cruising

Update

Little boy still in ICU, will check on him tonight

The resident dr apparently looked for me Tuesday morning and was vey ugly to the other RNs. I was helping with an IV on the other side of the floor and she said." I dont care who she is and what shes doing, when I need her, I expect her to be here pronto. Tell her I need her now!!!

Well, I mentioned it to the charge nurse and the Chief MD took care of it and she is no longer allowed to work at the hospital..

If you have no idea what I am talking about, see below

Wow, I understand doctors have to sort of detach themselves from emotions in order to function but that doesn't mean they have to be rude. I hope the little kid is doing better.

Just catching up with you....congrats on the weight loss for the week!!!!

You sound like such a caring nurse....I know I have told you this before but if any of my family was ever in the hospital, I would want a nurse like you to be there for us!!! You are such a God-send to these families that come through your hospital.

Wow...that's funny that a *resident* would be so bossy. I would think they would wait until they were actually officially done with school and a regular doctor before starting all that.

I have a feeling that you bring a whole lot of comfort and emotional healing to your patients and their families.

Hi

Just a note to say I was thinking of you this week - especially when I put on the hospital T-shirt I won from the Scavenger hunt you hosted.

Well done on your weightloss.

Keep up the good work at work and on yourself too.
