WW- week one

5.8- the amount of weight I lost this week on WW. Could have been more but I drank almost a gallon of water last night at work and then weighed right afterwards. Not bad though, I do know that most weeks will not even be half of that, so I am off to a good start

75 dollars- the gas card that my employer sent each employee to help out with gas prices

Good day and I still have 34 points to eat before tomorrow morning

Wow, that is AMAZING! I would love to lose that much in one week. It took me 3 weeks to lose 5 pounds. Good for you! If only the WW thing didn't cost money...

Amy, that's a wonderful start!! And yes, definitely don't drink a lot of water right before weighing in. ;)

It's good that you're expecting your weekly loss to be much smaller...that'll help you not get discouraged when it is. Just remember, any loss is a good loss! Around one or two pounds a week is great -- people who lose the weight more slowly do better at keeping the weight off. So remind yourself that on those small loss weigh-ins. :)

Great start, Amy!

Val and I are getting back on Weight Watchers, along with much of my family. Two years ago I was on WW for just two months and dropped 50 pounds, and it's all my fault for stopping once I started dating my darling Valerie and we enjoyed eating out all the time!

One thing to remember, it's tougher for women to lose multiple pounds than men. Even if you are at one or two pounds per week, you're still making progress, and you'll notice the difference in inches and a better all-around feeling.

Awesome! This is my fourth time with WW and the first week is usually the most exhilarating..Watch out for week 2 or 3..don't let it get you down..I've looked at lots of different people's stats and usually one of those weeks is either a small gain or just a tiny loss.

Looking forward to reading your blog more!

Hope you don't mind if I stop in every now and again. ;)

That is a great first week weight loss. When I was doing WW, they used to say 1-2 poinds a week on average. So you're doing GREAT.

Hooray!!
