Amy . . .

What would you like to know? I am fun, but crazy. I have a most perfect husband, and 2 cats named Samson and Delilah. We are presently working on adopting a little girl from China and have a separate blog for that. I am a Christian and am working on a better relationship with him. I live in the Atlanta area and love sharing stories with people. I am also a pediatric nurse and I love it! I love to talk and meet new people and I love Disney Cruising

whats going on

Ok, so whats going on. I have an appt with the hemotologist (blood dr) next week to go over my slightly elevated WBC's (mine are 11 and normal is 5-10). On a scale of 1-10, my nervous level is about a 3 I guess. But there is much more going on. I cleaned the fridge today..My hubby put up some more cool 80s videos as you can see here, Lucy the bassett hound is a big goober and I have Friday and Saturday nights off this week. SO far, 16 people have revoted on the name at the adoption website, which you can find here, and I still cant find time for anything..its pretty bad!

But, I am positive and I have exercised and eaten ok for the past 2 days. As you remember, I need to lose at least 50 pounds prior to China accepting our dossier!

So, click on the websites, vote on a name or suggest a new one and say hello to hubby!

He rocks!

Amy,

Thanks for stopping by my blog. I just left a note on the adoption one. I'll come by more often!

Hope the test results will explain your elevated WBC and hopefully it can easily be remedied. Wishing you well.

I hope everything is ok with you... I know you know... but stress wreaks havoc on the immune system.

I had minor surgery Dec 6, and 2 of my 3 wounds opened up... my doc says it's because my immune system is jacked up from having 2 kids sick for almost 3 months straight, the stress of that, plus Christmas... so the wounds are healing verrrry slowly. He told me I looked really worn down. Nothing like having your doctor tell you you basically look like... you know, LOL!

I have noticed that since I started taking a multivit once a day , the healing is a little faster. I am still pooped, but I feel a little better.

Are you taking a multivit? It will help you perk up, but it might help witht he weight loss too.

I hope you are feeling better soon, and that the Lord gives you peace and comfort :O)

Hope everything turns out well ~ my dad had this big "to do" with his liver about 2 years ago. Scared the crap out of all of us and turned out to be nothing (Thank goodness!). So, we've all kind of adopted the idea that you don't go into anything expecting bad news...most of the time the doctors are just being extra cautious. :)

Thanks for the comment on my TT. I can't believe how fast the days are going by lately. Could be because I'm so tired and all I want to do is nap with my little guy. :)

Hope you have an awesome weekend!

Good luck with the weight loss. I got back on track on Tuesday and had a good week.
