Amy . . .

What would you like to know? I am fun, but crazy. I have a most perfect husband, and 2 cats named Samson and Delilah. We are presently working on adopting a little girl from China and have a separate blog for that. I am a Christian and am working on a better relationship with him. I live in the Atlanta area and love sharing stories with people. I am also a pediatric nurse and I love it! I love to talk and meet new people and I love Disney Cruising

random thoughts on a Sunday morning

Good morning! Its Sunday and I just got home from work. I actually have a Sunday/Monday off which is odd but quite exciting. Nothing really planned today. Michaels not feeling well so church is off which means I will get to sleep a few hours and play online on may day off. Tomorrow I will go window shopping and perhaps organize something around the house.

I love my blog. I love to get comments. I love to read blogs. Its definitely a hobby. There are some really interesting bloggers out there.

Its time to do something with my blog. I'm not sure what though. I finally have all contest prizes (except Cyndis Rachel Ray cookbook) mailed and maybe its time for another contest. We will see. You know I love to give things away so come back in a day or 2 and see what I have cooked up.

I am thinking of doing a Christmas Card exchange in a few months. It would be simple and you could pick how many people you want to exchange with (ex. 1,5,10,20)

I am hoping to get some reading done today. I started a new Debbie Macomber book and I am quite behind on.

Do you want to know what I really want to do? I want to record every memory I can remember. This is something I have wanted to try for a long time. I'm not sure why. I live on memories. They bring me comfort.

Do you guys remember the funeral I went to back in January for a patient of mine? Well, her mom has a blog now that includes the video that was shown at the funeral. Check it out here.

ON another note, I have decided that water fountains have yucky germs on them.

I hope to have a post with more substance later today

It would be really interest to record all the memories you can remember. I wonder how many I could remember; my memory is terrible!

You have me curious about the water fountains..... :)
Memories are a great thing! Try scrapbooking with that idea in mind and you could theme each one by year or season or whatever! It would be a treasure to pass on to your children not to mention look at from time to time. Hallmark has those memories books for grandparents, etc and I have made my mom and dad start filling one out so my kids have it always.

Back in grade school, I would avoid drinking at fountains after people I considered "dirty." Not that it was any cleaner two people later, but it made me feel better.
