Amy . . .

What would you like to know? I am fun, but crazy. I have a most perfect husband, and 2 cats named Samson and Delilah. We are presently working on adopting a little girl from China and have a separate blog for that. I am a Christian and am working on a better relationship with him. I live in the Atlanta area and love sharing stories with people. I am also a pediatric nurse and I love it! I love to talk and meet new people and I love Disney Cruising

Hiya, noticed you're trying to lose some weight. Me too! I've joined a load of ladies in an online support group blog, you can check it out at http://one-weigh-or-another.com/ .
I hope this comment doesn't sound like spam! I just found your website from your comment on my WW (the reflection in a bauble (can't spell!))
I'm doing a diet called south beach, but all the ladies are doing different things. It's just a really encouraging blog!

Good to hear about that movie, I've read another blog that gave it a good review too. Thanks!

Bummer about the wallet, but at least some of it was still there. What a pain, why are people so dishonest?

Going to check out your name vote, sounds like fun! Have a great day!!!

I saw the movie as well! I loved it. : ) It was really great. Good news that your hubby got his wallet back, too bad the $$$ was gone, though!

Thanks for stopping by my blog on WW!

You can get some free meal and snack ideas at www.weightwatchers.com. They save most of them for people who join the website, but they do share a few with non members. It's high in fat, but I snack on some peanut butter and crackers (just a few). The fat fills me up and I'm not as hungry. Other things: baked chips (I'm a chip freak and can't live without them), air popped pop corn or 94% fat free microwave corn, low fat string cheese, fat free yogurt, and a hand full of nuts (again for the fat). I joined a walking group over at http://theultimatecreator.blogspot.com/2007/01/im-goin-for-walk-wanna-come.html and you can also get help at http://www.thebestlife.com. I'm keeping track of my progress at http://momsquietplace.blogspot.com. Sorry to be so long. Good luck:)

For fun exercise, try hooping (as in hula hooping)! :)

The WW sunset picture was taken at Pine Island Beach (gulf coast Florida) last Saturday.

I blogged a couple of times about losing weight this last year and included a few of my "secrets" here:

Good for you for making the attempt!

Wow, that's awful about his wallet! It's great his license and his cards were there, but wow, I can't believe people would steal someone's cash like that.

I went with the family and some friends to see that movie too. I really enjoyed it. Sorry to hear about the money, but at least they left the cards!

Bummer to hear about the cash. I would still really watch the credit cards though. They may have just rubbed the numbers or jotted them down. Hope it works out good!

I've heard good things about that movie, too. I think I'll take my kids & check it out.

Hi there, I'm glad that none of his cards were missing, what a nightmare THAT would've been. Ugh.

I'm back on the weight loss too. Once I get into it I do pretty good. Snacks for me that I enjoy are a slice of cheese and a small handfull of Triscuits. Or cut up some fresh fruit & toss it into the freezer an hour or so before you're going to eat it so it'll be really chilled & slushy. That's especially good for the warm months.

Lots of yoga and pilates to rev up the metabolism. :) And, don't diet. Just go day by day and do your best to make healthy choices. That's my plan for this year, anyway. I resolved to stop making resolutions....i.e., like lose weight, etc. It's harder than you'd think!
