Amy . . .

What would you like to know? I am fun, but crazy. I have a most perfect husband, and 2 cats named Samson and Delilah. We are presently working on adopting a little girl from China and have a separate blog for that. I am a Christian and am working on a better relationship with him. I live in the Atlanta area and love sharing stories with people. I am also a pediatric nurse and I love it! I love to talk and meet new people and I love Disney Cruising

Thirteen Things about AMy

Thursday 13
13 memories of family vacations as a child

1. Christmas in Oklahoma. It snowed and we heard the reindeer on the roof. OH yeah, Cousin Billy stepped on a nail, but I did not care.
2. Maryland- going into the LL Bean place. I have never bought anything from here, but it was cool being here.
3. Our hotel/cabin in Maine. It was the fall and it was awesome
4. Weekend trip to Williamsburg and DC when we lived in Virginia. Dad wanted to teach us soooo much.
5. A week at Disney World. We stayed outside the park. I was in 8th grade. It rocked.
6. My first cruise in 5th grade. We went with another family. Adventures in Babysitting were playing on board. The theatre was small…It was cool
7. London England. This was in college but it was still awesome. I was able to see Phantom and a play called The Lady in Black…Spent 21st bday here
8. Oregon- went whale watching and saw the Red Wood Forest
9. Las Vegas/Grand Canyon- The GC is spectacular...enough said.
10. Yearly trips to see grandparents in FL while we lived in SC. We had picnic lunches and fast bathroom breaks.
11. Visiting family in Alabama for thanksgiving..It was cool
12. Hilton Head. I was very little and dad had work here a lot. Very neat place
13. Ashville, NC and seeing the Biltmore House.

Great list. The only place I've been to on your list is London, England. Maybe I'll look into some of the other areas you've mentioned for a possible future vacation spot.

I was just talking with my parents about when we visited Biltmore when I was a kid. I'd like to go back now that I'd actually appreciate seeing it. ;)

Happy TT!

Most of the places I have been too but as an adult of course. The first time I went to the States was in 71 visiting my aunt in Wisconsin and then from 1988 - 1996 when she died. I have great souvenirs from that time and we travelled through almost all States lol ! London of course I know very well my son lives there although for the moment he is in Amsterdam.
Nice souvenirs for you !

Glad you got to go places as a kid. WE only went camping at the state park but then again, where else would you take a ton of kids!

I've never been anywhere on your list. I envy you your trip to London. That city's always been on my list of places I want to see. Fear of flying keeps me away...that and money.

Happy TT! Mine are up.

Ok Sis.... I think your memory is fading.. Shouldn't Maryland be Maine?? It was a fun trip and beautiful...

Sounds like great Christmas memories. I don't think I've ever been anywhere but home with family...and given how stressful THAT can be...I might think about some other places!

wowzers, you and I share alot of places in common vacation wise. We were in Cherokee and saw all the Native Americans that looked soooo poor we couldnt bring ourselves to go to the Biltmore in Asheville.

If you love houses like that though, go to Newport RI

Unfortunatly we didn't have any money to go on holiday when I was little, but now I'm older I don't mind as much as I used too.
I'm sure those holidays give great memories.
Thanks for visiting my TT!
