Its Fall. We felt it last night and early this morning. Yesterday I went to my Bible Study and realized I had a flat tire. After calling the service to come and help, I waited outside for almost 2 hours. It was okay. It was cool, sunny and a wonderful time. I had not been asleep for almost 20 hours but I really enjoyed this time just reading a wonderful book spending time outside.
I came home, slept a few hours and spent some time with Michael and Lucy talking to a neighbor after their walk. It just felt good. We played trivia last night and came home. This morning, I had to take the tire back to Kauffman Tires (who repair tires for free) and waited outside for about 90 minutes (they repaired it the day before but made a booboo, I appreciate their honesty) and continued reading this most wonderful book. I am reading it for book club at church and will do a full review after I complete it. My sister is coming up for work next week and will be attending book club with me, I am excited about that.
Anyway, its fall. I love this season. I love the apple festival that we will be going to this weekend. I love holding hubby's hand and snuggling.
I'm ready for pumpkins, leaves, apples, trick or treating, Thanksgiving, family and friends. I am working tonight and we have community group tomorrow (taco night) and then Apple Festival on Saturday and Discovery 2 class on Sunday..Busy times for the Christopher. I hope to get to the gym tomorrow but that will be a whole other post.
What are you doing today?
Amy . . .
What would you like to know? I am fun, but crazy. I have a most perfect husband, and 2 cats named Samson and Delilah. We are presently working on adopting a little girl from China and have a separate blog for that. I am a Christian and am working on a better relationship with him. I live in the Atlanta area and love sharing stories with people. I am also a pediatric nurse and I love it! I love to talk and meet new people and I love Disney Cruising

Hi Amy....
I love Fall too....This morning it was 42 degrees with a high of 63.
So sorry about your flat tire...I just hate that. At least Kauffman's was honest. You can't find that much these days.
Today, I am doing laundry and hopefully the kids will be making candy cane beaded ornaments soon.
I love fall and Thanksgiving. And I have so much to be thankful for this coming Thanksgiving.....
I can already smell the aroma of Pumpkin Pie baking....YUM!
Have a wonderful Day Amy!
Sorry about the flat... we just bought our new van and I purposefully added the roadside assistance since it only added about a small amount to the six month cost (like maybe 20 bucks or something).
We love fall too.. I bought seeds to plant for fall flowers since it will be nice here through the winter...
God bless,
Sallie
We are camping with the Boy Scouts in Blairsville this weekend. Maybe we will be able to hit the Apple Festival on the way home Sunday. Have fun!
I love valid excuses for just sitting back and relaxing outside :-)
Our tempertures have gone from 92 on Monday to 57 today! Bbbrrrrrr! So today I have been staying inside because I hurt to bad to move. Got to get used to the change in weather. Hee Hee...gives me a chance to read my blogs!!
so sorry to hear about the flat and all the waiting around you had to do, but thank goodness for nice weather and a good book!
I too love the fall, and ready for some fall fun!
I love the changing of the leaves in the Fall and I love Halloween, but I don't actually like Fall. It's the busiest time of the year at work for me and it has rains a lot. We're still waiting for a break from the rain so we can go to the pumpkin patch. I can't wait for spring and summer.
Its nice to hear that Spring and Summer have fans as well!~ Hope you enjoy this season.
Yeah, the waiting for a tire thing stunk. I have a schedule when I am working and I feel at ease when it gets disrupted..Im odd
