Amy . . .

What would you like to know? I am fun, but crazy. I have a most perfect husband, and 2 cats named Samson and Delilah. We are presently working on adopting a little girl from China and have a separate blog for that. I am a Christian and am working on a better relationship with him. I live in the Atlanta area and love sharing stories with people. I am also a pediatric nurse and I love it! I love to talk and meet new people and I love Disney Cruising

Husbands and such

Back to your regulary scheduled blogging.

Michael posted some good posts today regarding tv, and just day to day stuff. I enjoyed each of his posts and those are the kind of things I like to read about. Hope you will hop on over and leave a comment somewhere. He has been pretty active these days!

I did this post before and hope I get a few more responses. Lets play "brag about your spouse"

In the comment section, tell us what you love about your hubby/wife/significant other.

I will go first. Michael went and got my membership back up at the gym for me today and we got me some shoes this week. Except for the ability to find time, I really dont have an excuse to not to work out. I actually like to go the gym. I can go over to Big Lots next door afterwards and walk around. I really want this weight off before China. Way before China. I want to be healthy.

Michael ordered Greys Anatomy season 3 and we are working on it. Michael was very social at trivia on Monday night. My Michael can be very silly at times, I love it when he is silly.

My husband is the most amazing cook. He goes out of his way after a long day of standing on his feet in a classroom, to come home and make the most amazing dinners for us. I am so blessed (I hate cooking) and the Lord must have known, because he sent my AB to me!

My Michael is good like that too. Hes good at taking over meal planning and shopping on weeks that I work a lot in the row

My husband is incredible!! we just added our second child to the family and he has really stepped up!! I told him the other day that I think are the best we have ever been! I love him with all my heart. I am so blessed that 12 years ago this man walked into my life!!

Jerry almost always cleans the kitchen after I cook. I LOVE this about him. He really doesn't seem to mind. I'm usually pretty tired after trying to keep the kids busy while making dinner and he really does do his best to help out when he gets home. He's very into providing for his family ~ and he's always trying to improve himself in little ways.

Perhaps the best thing about my husband is that he still finds me sexy. Even when I feel fat or just BLAH, he always tells me I'm beautiful. He even told me I looked like I was losing weight the other day - you know that's music to ANY woman's ears!

I really trust my husband. If he says he will do something he will do it. I trust his integrity, I trust his kindness, I trust his judgment. It is just nice to be able to feel safe and know that he has my back.

My husband is a very hard worker! He is a kind-hearted man and I am proud to say our son is alot like him.

Wait, no I HAVE the best husband :) He is such a hard worker and a great dad. This weekend while some friends were over, I peeked outside to find him simply pushing a friend's little girl in the swing. Now he had to come out of the garage, clean his greasy hands off and intentionally walk over to the play set just to help her. Later that evening he said you know that Emily is just a sweet little girl. Then he said, "I'm going to get me one of those."- smile

Okay, I'll join in on the fun!

My hubby is extremely romantic- he says his favorite days of the entire year are my birthday and our anniversary(22 years and goin strong!)- and he makes me feel like a princess on a daily basis... Leaving starbucks gift cards on my pillow when he goes out of town, sending me "just because" flowers, taking me to tea at the Ritz at Christmas time.....

And now our girls get the same royal treatment, and Aria even calls him King Daddy because he has tea with her in her castle-
Melts my heart!!

Oh my, there is so much about my husband I love. I even love all the little things that annoy me about him. Because without them, he wouldn't be Eric.

Let's see here we go, here is my short list.

1. He puts his Lord first and formost, the myself and the kids come second only to him.
2. He goes to all my kids parent-teacher conferences. He goes to all there IEP meetings which can last a hour just for one of the meetings.

3. He takes all my kids to there doctors appointments, not because I don't want to, because he wants to know what is going on with his own kid. That and we are down to working off of one car for the next 6 to 8 months.

4. He would die for his country and for myself and our kids.

5. He is a intelligent, kind, sweet and very witty!

6. He is a jokester!
7. He brags on my cooking, even if it is not the best dish that I have made.
8. He is a great problem solver.
9. His daughter is the apple of his eye.
10. His sons are his pride and joy.
He is the best darn thing that has ever happened to me. When I cry, he is in pain and trys to fix it. When I am laughing he wants to know what I am laughing at so he can laugh along. When there is pain, he wants to know where and how he can help.
I am so bless to call Eric my husband...he is simply amazing...

My husband doesn't fuss at me about trivial stuff. If he starts to say something negative he almost always catches himself and then apologizes for whatever did slip out. He knows I work hard with the children and life can't be a perfect little box and I appreciate him trying, even through his PTSD.

God bless,
Sallie

There are so many things I LOVE about my man. He is thoughtful and sincere. I love that he wants to be a part of everything in Isabella's life, like how he took a vacation day from work on her first day of kindergarden. He loves children and all the kids in the neighborhood love him. He can make any kid laugh! He always does the dishes...always. Never complains about it, just does. He does ALL the laundry in our house and also the vacuuming. (I hate to vacuum!) In the 10 years I've known him, I have never pumped gas. I used to all the time until I met him...he took this upon his job and refuses to let me do it. I love that he treats me like a princess. He is sensitive, trustworthy, loving, upbeat, patriotic and makes me laugh. And, he's been know to cry at movies too!

A caring and loving man for 39 years of our marriage...a man who lets me be my own self and spend my money plus his money...He never complained about me working the night shift for 28 years before I retired....We could always find a way to make love while kids were at school or away.It takes two to make a good marriage and we are perfect together.. Sorry ladies. My hubby is the best ever! He is so sweet and patient. He's gonna be a great daddy. He's so fun to talk to. I'm not afraid of a long trip because I know the time will fly just chatting together. He gives me freedom to be myself, even when he doesn't understand me. And he can do 45-50 push ups or so. "Nuff said!

my spouse is the best provider and super grandpa to his grandkids. He actually took one to get a haircut before he took him go-cart riding. Now, that's love.
