13 Things I would like to have done before LynnMarie gets home LynnMarie may come home sooner than we thought! We are adopting from China! Our adoption journey can be found at www.thechristopherfamily.blogspot.com 1. Continue to work on losing weight 2.Get used to carrying a purse. I may be the only girl who this is not a habit for 3. Get a new front door 4.Get new carpet in LynnMarie's room 5.Paint the whole upstairs 6. Get rid of the half peeled off wallpaper in 2 bathrooms and repaint 7.Touch up the stuff we have already painted 8.Declutter 9.Go on one last Amy/Michael trip 10.Save as much vacation time as possible 11.Save as much money as possible 12. Clean up the back yard 13. Learn as much about China/attachment/parenting as possible |

I am so excited for your upcoming adopting. Adopting my son was one of the greatest joys of my life!
Best wishes!
Congrats on the adoption. We've often thought about doing it. Regarding the purse issue. When we had our daughter I gave up the purse and put all my junk in the diaper bag. It seemed to really help me out. Less to carry is always better. LOL!! Great TT.
Have lots of fun every step of the way!
Oh how exciting! You must be absolutely thrilled. When does she arrive? You'll have to be a busy gal to get all of that done!
Wow, that's thrilling! Wishing you all the best with the adoption!
Thirteen reasons I wish I was going to Origins
This is an exciting time for you. May you accomplish all 13!
I'm totally with you on #2, much to my mother's dismay. If I had a nickel for every time she's told me to carry one in my life ...
Excited for your new arrival! Add "enjoy all this anticipation" to your list!
I am excited for you and your pending child. I am the adoptive mother to 2 children, both from USA...adopting from China was a dream we once had also. God bless.
Good luck!

What an exciting time---and how wondeful for your family. i hope you have a wonderful time with your new daughter. In the meantime---don't sweat the small stuff.
CONGRATS on your new baby girl LynnMarie!
Happy TT!
I don't carry a purse any more...I have no need. Just my ID, my cell phone and my plastic [LOL] ---it's easier, and all fit in my pockets.
Congratulations on the adoption!!
My 13 is posted, come join me?
Happy Thursday.
Congratulations, that is so exciting!
Thanks for stopping by my TT. :-)
Congrats on the upcoming bundle! Funny, my list before having my oldest son was much the same :-P Great TT..thanks so much for sharing :-D
how exciting! i go through phases when it comes to carrying a purse, sometimes i do, sometimes i don't. as for your list, definitely do #9, and even when LynnMarie gets home, make it a point to do #9 regularly. as for #13 you'll learn as you go. add this to your list - live each day as though it was your last - all the other stuff to do, is just that, stuff to do!
that is so very exciting to hear I am very happy for you! All you will need is a diaper bag for a while then when done w/ it you will be so happy to downgrade to a purse.
Hope you get your little girl really soon. I have friends who adopted from China and thier little girl is a delight.
Don't even bother with the purse thing, unless it's something you really want to carry. I carried a diaper bag while it was necessary and a small backpack later that my daughter picked out. Now she is almost 6 and if she wants something she carries it and my stuff goes in my pockets the way it always has.
