Amy . . .

What would you like to know? I am fun, but crazy. I have a most perfect husband, and 2 cats named Samson and Delilah. We are presently working on adopting a little girl from China and have a separate blog for that. I am a Christian and am working on a better relationship with him. I live in the Atlanta area and love sharing stories with people. I am also a pediatric nurse and I love it! I love to talk and meet new people and I love Disney Cruising

more randomness

I was able to go for a nice long walk with a new friend today.. I hope this becomes a habit as I so want to become less fluffy. I am working tonight and I we are ordering pizza to celebrate our Nurse Techs.

Working on Sat and Sunday..Hoping to be awake for church on sunday and then sleeping a few hours..then my sister kelly is coming up for the week for work so we are going to have dinner with her on Sunday.

I also need to start bringing stuff down for the garage sale which is only a week away. My walking buddy put an ad in the AJC and I am going to be putting up signs next week.. Not sure if it will be a "success" but hopefully it will be fun.

How are you today? What are you thankful for?

and does anyone else watch Studio 60.

I was sorry to hear that Billy Grahams wife died. She was 87. I'm sure it was no surprise but to lose a life partner you have had for over 60 years..I cant imagine that feeling. What a couple they were.. The best biography I have ever read was the Billy Graham book. I may try reading it again soon...
New blog will be installed tonight?

Has anyone watched the video on my sidebar? I just love that movie!

Hi Amy,

Thank you for visiting my place and commenting on my petty petunias. It's amazing how well they do on that hot front porch but they bloom all summer long. They are my official greeters when I have company! LOL

I feel really bad for Billy Graham. I have no idea how you adjust to losing someone you've spent that many years with. He's such a man of faith, I know that will get him through, but it's still sad.

If you like to read and haven't read the Narnia Chronicals I recommend them. Did you know that the author actually made a lot of "biblical" references when he wrote them? The first book (the Magician's Nephew) is kind of like the Genesis story...and the second book (The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe) is like the story of Christ. ~ the lion sacraficing his life for others and "rising" from the dead. I could go on and on...I use to teach and LOVED these books. :)

In answer to your question about Cyndi...she found me through my blog. That's the only way we know eachother. She started to send me messages and that was it. She's a real sweetheart. ;)

I knew you were getting a new look for the adoption blog, but not this one. What a pleasant surprise when I looked this afternoon. Whoever did the work on these did a wonderful job.

awww thanks Janene.
it's hard to lose someone even if you only have been married 7 years so i can't imagine how hard it must for him with that many years togther.

I LOVE your new look!
Was sad to hear about Ruth Graham, the book sounds interesting.

I see you're reading 90 Minutes in Heaven, I read it last year and thought it was so good!
