Amy . . .

What would you like to know? I am fun, but crazy. I have a most perfect husband, and 2 cats named Samson and Delilah. We are presently working on adopting a little girl from China and have a separate blog for that. I am a Christian and am working on a better relationship with him. I live in the Atlanta area and love sharing stories with people. I am also a pediatric nurse and I love it! I love to talk and meet new people and I love Disney Cruising

Sundays events

The Christopher family has been busy and we have lots coming up. I worked Saturday night and came home. We got ready and attended North Metro Church for the third time. As Michael posted on your blog, its contemporary. I love it! The lead teaching pastor is excellent, the crowd is nice and I love the music. there is a huge population of families with Chinese children. It is different than what we were looking for, there are plenty of opportunities for involvement. They have a quarterly woman's book club and the discuss Christian Fiction. This month is Karen Kingsbury's Divine. You must know I am interested in this. You do have to get there on time.. I stress about this, but that's just me.

Anyway, we plan on visiting again. they have a introduction to church class next Sunday but we have a prior engagement.
After lunch, we got a sub and headed home. After lunch I quickly went to sleep expecting to get up around 230 or 3. Nope, I slept until 630...Holy cow!!!!!

Michael and I just got home from dinner and headed over to leave a check for the dude that does our yard. While in the driveway, I met Sara, the neighbor I have been corresponding with via email regarding our neighborhood garage sale. She sounds very enthused and on Wednesday morning, her and I are going to walk the neighborhood with baby Lauren and pass out garage sale flyers..I really hope its successful. It would be nice to see a lot of neighbors participate.

Next Sunday, we will be in a trivia tournament where the cash prize is something like 700 dollars..Jeff, if you are reading this, we wish you and Val could join us. Should be fun as long as no one cheats (heehee). Wish us well!!!!

So if you would like to pray for us this week, here are our needs
1) Michaels job search
2)patience as we wait
3) weight loss
4) getting ready for the garage sale
5) time management!

I love my blogging friends. My new design is just about ready...Keep checking!!!

I can relate to what you are going through and you are both in my prayers. Patience is tough, but the rewards are so sweet:-)
