What would you like to know? I am fun, but crazy. I have a most perfect husband, and 2 cats named Samson and Delilah. We are presently working on adopting a little girl from China and have a separate blog for that. I am a Christian and am working on a better relationship with him. I live in the Atlanta area and love sharing stories with people. I am also a pediatric nurse and I love it! I love to talk and meet new people and I love Disney Cruising

Please take a moment and say a prayer for.......

Please pray for the families of Catie, Morgan and Catherine!!!!

1)Catie is a very special patient who is going through a hard week at home and mommy is 9 months pregnant!
2)Katherine is another special patient whose familiy I have grown to love. They have invited me to church many times and I adore them.
3)Morgan earned her angel wings yesterday. Although it was expected and she is no longer suffering, the family is grieving!

Long night at work...Some really sick kids. I hope they are all better and can go home for Christmas, but if not, I hope we can make it as pleasant as possible.

Will definitely keep these children and their families in my prayers. Will pray for you too as you are working with them and trying to make their Christmas a happy one when they are going through tough times.

How heartbreaking....when it comes to children, I think that's just the saddest. I'm an RN and believe me, I give you credit working with these children. I worked the Oncology floor, but for adults. Pedi did me in....I was constanly crying because of all the sick children. SO bravo to you! And I will keep them all in my prayers.

How awful to be dealing with that at Christmas...I wonder sometimes if I was sheltered when I was little, or if more "bad" things happen as you get older. It's so hard to stay positive sometimes...you sound like you are doing a great job, though. You get extra special blessings for helping to make all of those sick kids feel Christmas spirit! :)

I'll be praying for the children and their families.

This is my little prayer for Catie, Morgan & Katherine. I say it as I type and hope it adds even a little sunlight in their lives...

Lord Jesus, I want to thak you in a very special way for the gift of there beautiful little girls.

First I'd like to thank you for the gift of life you gave Morgan even if for a very little while. She enriched the lives of everyone she touched. She was really special and even though her family loves her really very much, they wll be happy to know there isn't any more pain where she is now. She is your little angel and she'll be their intercessor whenever they need your help, when they are down and need your strength. Thank you for the precious gift of her birth to her mum and her smile which will remain in her heart forever...

Lord Jesus I also thank you for the gifts of Catie and Katherine to their families.. These little flowers so young & in need of your strength, yet they add so much sunshine to the lives of their loved ones and those they touch everyday. Thakyou for the precious gift of their lives.

Lord if it is your will, you have but to say the word and they will be healed... completely. You are the divine healer the ultimate surgeon and Your very presence will bring so much strength & healing... Your will & not ours be done... Amen

I hope all the kids get better and get to go home for Christmas. It's sad to see sometimes. But, you are so brave to be working with them. I don't know if I could do it myself.
