Amy . . .

What would you like to know? I am fun, but crazy. I have a most perfect husband, and 2 cats named Samson and Delilah. We are presently working on adopting a little girl from China and have a separate blog for that. I am a Christian and am working on a better relationship with him. I live in the Atlanta area and love sharing stories with people. I am also a pediatric nurse and I love it! I love to talk and meet new people and I love Disney Cruising

Fridays feast

Feast One Hundred and Twenty Two
Appetizer
What was your very first job with a paycheck?
I was a step above a candy striper..It was in a hospital on a pediatric floor. I guess thats when my career began

Soup
Did you ever lose something really important to you?
Oh yeah, but I lose everything..I love it when I find things. I will come back to this.

Salad
What is the best Christmas present you ever received?
Im not sure..hubby really thinks of things I mentioned I wanted months ago. he is a great gift giver.

Main Course
Tell about a favorite "hang out" place for you and your friends when you were in high school.
I was a in a youth group rather than the popular crowd at high school. I had fun with my friends at church. I did go to the mall a lot.

Dessert
Name something that always brings a smile to your face.
my nieces and nephews. This of course is besides the answer of my loving hubby

It's great when people love you so much that they remember something you wanted a long time ago but you yourself have forgotten it. :) My feast is up!

Great feast. :) Wonderful salad and dessert. My husband is the same way - he remembers things I pointed out in the mall, or mentioned months and months ago! My brain isn't up to that. ;)

Have a good weekend. :)

My main course is a variation on yours. Different continent, same answers!

Great feast served! Besides surfing, I belonged to the youth group in church too and it was alot of fun. I liked being in the choir too.

I'm served up too.

It's so nice to have a hubby that notices and remembers what you've shown an interest in. A couple years ago, he remembered that I had mentioned liking the gem Tanzanite 5 years earlier and surprised me with a ring, necklace and earrings. I was floored.

oh I belong to a youth group too in our church but unlike you I didn't grow as christian, that's sad right?
btw thanks for commenting :)

Yeah, and the true appreciation comes from seeing the use and love of the "remembered gifts." Hrmm, how many times has Amy worm that cat's eye stone I bought her? Does she even know where it is?

And dessert, yesterday it was "love you two" meaning me and the dog, so the cats got excluded, and today I play second to the children that aren't even ours?

hmmm...the piece of jewelery you speak of is in my jewelry box. I wore it the night of our anniversary thank you very much and you do not play 2nd.

Better candy striper than candy stripper, I suppose.

Hi Amy, thanks for stopping by. I really do need to write our adoption story sometime! Just letting you know I tagged you for a meme! Please let me know if you do it so I can stop back by! Merry Christmas!

i lose so much cause I am too messy! :) but I usually find it after much hunting. why is it that TV remote controls dont have a system that if you clap or something they beep!

Great feast!
I've taken an interest in becoming a pediatric nurse, since taking care of my son and watching the nurse at school.
Your husband sounds like a real keeper! :)

Have a great weekend!
