I love Kelly Clarkson, I even have her second CD...there is not one song that I dont like on it:) Happy TT.

I only remember Carrie Underwood-she is from my home state.
Taylor Hicks- love his sound....but the others....I don't even know.

I haven't watched the last season, but I love watching the auditions of people who think they are the next rock star who actual can't carry a tune in a bucket!

BTW: Dr. Scholl's sandals used to sell at the local drugstore, in the footcare section. They're now considered "fashion." Figure that one out. Anyway, I think you would like them.:)

We only started getting AI this year, but I think I'd have had to live under a rock to have not heard of most of these people.

Oh, man, I remember these too! I didn't follow as much in the first few seasons, but I've been hooked in the last few seasons:)
The only reason I even know of Elliott Yamin is that one of my son's friends had it as her AIM screen name. Jennifer Hudson was one of my favorites...we were very sad when she was voted off. And as for an ongoing career, I think Carrie Underwood is doing great!
To admit how out of it I am I have never watched American Idol. I love the music of Carrie Underwood and Clay Aikens though.

I haven't watched all the seasons, but I did watch one and I when I hear American idol, the name of Fantasia Barrino would always come to mind.

I don't really watch American Idol, but I will watch some of the first shows of each season where all the knuckleheads try out just to be on TV. Those are a hoot.
