Amy . . .

What would you like to know? I am fun, but crazy. I have a most perfect husband, and 2 cats named Samson and Delilah. We are presently working on adopting a little girl from China and have a separate blog for that. I am a Christian and am working on a better relationship with him. I live in the Atlanta area and love sharing stories with people. I am also a pediatric nurse and I love it! I love to talk and meet new people and I love Disney Cruising

Some good ones there! I adore The Wizard of Oz. And oh my goodness, how The Notebook made me bawl.

Happy TT, and thanks for visiting my blog!

I don't think I have seen Bed of roses, but my favorite chick flick is Miss Congeniality, it's one of the few that the guys in my house will watch.
Haven't seen The Notebook, but read the book, it was a tear jerker.

I still could watch "You´ve got mail" and "Pretty Woman" over and over =)

Great list, Amy - thanks for sharing!
Happy TT!

I love most of those on your list. # 3 and 4 would be on the top of mine.

I loved The Notebook and it's not even my favorite genre. I'm more into historical based films (Luther, We Were Soldiers, etc). I cried like a baby at this one though!

My favorite is probably not one you'd like: The 5th Element. Happy TT.

Although I am not into chick flicks, I do enjoy watching "Wizard of Oz", and "The Karate Kid". Wow! The Karate Kid. That's one I haven't seen in a long, ling time.

I am actually working on a top 100 film list. So far, I have published 29 on my blog.

I love #s 6 and 10!!

I think I like the song from Armageddon the most...but the story is superb too.

Thanks for the sweet comment today, Amy!

One of my all-time favorites is Salt On Our Skin, a tear-jerker romance with Greta Scaaci.

I don't watch many "chick flicks", but I have to admit, The Notebook got to me...I went through plenty of Kleenex during that one. :)

I am with you on most of these. I almost didn't see The Notebook, because I thought I wouldn't like it. Man...was I wrong. Happy TT!

My all time favorite is the Notebook, Message in a Bottle, by the same author. High Road to China, and Somewhere in Time.

Hmm, how about Knotting Hill, or the Wedding Singer?

Great list, and you've listed some of my faves!

I love 'Shag'! My Bitter Half finally found me a DVD copy for my birthday a few years ago. It reminds me of my friends when we were in HS. I also love 'You've Got Mail' but I won't see The Notebook after reading the book made me cry too much. You may remember my Dad has Alzheimer's.
If you have time, my TT is my Harry Potter predictions.
Happy TT!

That is a great list and I have actually seen most of them. I haven't seen many movies in the last 5 years, so can't even think of any to recommend. Thanks for visiting my TT's.

Shag!!! Oh, yes. Bridget Fonda is such a superb actress in this movie. Must have watched this w/ my lil' sis like 100 times. Made me wanna go back in time. Obviously when Shag meant to dance not um...well you know;)

Pretty Woman is good too.

I love all these, but the Notebook is my favorite as well. What a powerful, moving love story. Those hold a special place in my heart...hmmm maybe that's why I write them. LOL :)

You need to see "American Dreamer" with Jo Beth Williams and Tom Conti. It came out in 1985 but I know you can find it on dvd.

I'm not really a chick flick kind of gal myself. My hubby likes them, though.

Great list! I also love The Princess Bride. That would be one of the top movies on my list of shows I could watch over and over again.

Love your movie choices! Shag is one of mine and my sister's favorite movies! We tried to learn to do those dances while watching the movie so many times as kids! Nice to see someone else that loved it too!!!
