Amy . . .

What would you like to know? I am fun, but crazy. I have a most perfect husband, and 2 cats named Samson and Delilah. We are presently working on adopting a little girl from China and have a separate blog for that. I am a Christian and am working on a better relationship with him. I live in the Atlanta area and love sharing stories with people. I am also a pediatric nurse and I love it! I love to talk and meet new people and I love Disney Cruising

Music

Okay, I know my titles to my entries are oh so not creative but oh well. I was in the car today on the way to the gym when a Glass Tiger song came on? Do you remember them? I started thinking that its amazing how one song can take you back to 10-15-20 years ago? I can remember being in our "playroom" in Midlothian Va and listening to Madonnas "True Blue"? I can remember who I was hanging out with when Armageddon came out and Aerosmiths song was popular?

What about you? Do you have certain songs that bring back a certain memory? At Caties (a patient of mine) funeral they played Amy Grants Fathers World and I know that memory will always be with me? I am interested in what songs bring back what memories!

On another note, I do not watch football. I did know who Mr Manning was as I went to school in Tn and have knows since then. I am just saying that at the beginning of this season, I declared the Colts the winners and many people laughed at me! Im just saying!

Not much going on here. I am still working on putting Christmas stuff up. I bought new boxes to help organize it but I havent completed the task!!

I had this song by Kitchens of Distinction, that every time I hear it takes me back to a party at my friends in collage and I remember him throwing full beers at me while it was on. Great time was had by all.

I might also mention you had them as winners of the Superbowl, but playing a team that it is impossible for them to ever meet in a Superbowl.

OH YAH! Eye of The Tiger...I was 13 or 14 and working in a fish packing plant. The radio station would play it like 20 times in a 12 hour shift. I knew every word by heart. GACK!
Vince Gill's Go Rest High On The Mountain was played at my cousin's funeral. He was a log truck driver and swerved to miss a car load of kids. Brings tears to my eyes. And I've heard Amazing Grace at enough funerals that it chokes me up as well.
FootLoose makes me wanna get up and dance. My fav rebel 80's movie. :D
Have a great week!
