Amy . . .

What would you like to know? I am fun, but crazy. I have a most perfect husband, and 2 cats named Samson and Delilah. We are presently working on adopting a little girl from China and have a separate blog for that. I am a Christian and am working on a better relationship with him. I live in the Atlanta area and love sharing stories with people. I am also a pediatric nurse and I love it! I love to talk and meet new people and I love Disney Cruising

Thirteen Things about Amy

Thursday 13
Thirteen Things I Need to do (Sorry I am not creative at all this week)

1) Send Michael's birth certificate to Maryland to get it authenticated
2) Work on a budget and stick to it
3) Clean out pantry and throw things away that I should not be eating
4) Clean up the office room
5) Go over all adoption paperwork and make sure its organized
6) Do committee work for work
7) Set aside another weekend to head to Florida
8) Redo my address book as way too many cards came back this Christmas
9) Organize my bookshelves. Apparently Martha Stewart has a book on this but whatever
10) Make a list of things we need to do around the house this year
11) Start reading the biographies I planned on doing
12) Finish painting the inside of the house
13) Get a new blog design that doesn’t cost 100 dollars

Very cool. :) I did Thirteen Reasons Why I Love My Boyfriend. Seemed appropriate for V-day.

You've inspired me to write my own to-do list... so many things, so little time!!

That's the way mine was last week. Too bad I didn't accomplish all of the things I listed! Good luck to you at accomplishing the things you need to do.

Phew! Those are lots of things to do. Hope you accomplish all of them.
My T13 is up too.

Hey, don't knock the To-Do list. They are valuable and integral (if annoying) items in our lives?

And...is it just me, or does anyone else find it ironic that Martha Stewart would have a book to sell to people who need to organize their bookshelves? Won't it just be one more book contributing to the chaos? I say do it your own way! =)

Happy TT!

I had a book on how to beat procrastination but I just keep putting it off.

Even if you're not creative, at least you out there doing T13. I have run out of T13 posts for now

I like your apologies in the title LOL!
I usually don’t do To Do Lists so I try not to be disappointed at the end of the day/week/...

Happy TT!
Mine is up too :)
Cheers!

Amy we must be having the same week! I was feeling the same way about my TT. Also I SO want to redo my blog and it's so expensive (plus I feel like I should be able to figure out a new design on my own that is at least quasi-fun if not super sophisticated and professional.. but no time :( ) tee hee - Martha's book on organizing bookshelves, very witty for a woman with so much on her mind, girl! Happy TT :)

There's a book on organizing your books? *giggling madly*

I've been avoiding making a to-do list, for fear I'll take one look at it and curl up in a corner babbling insensibly.

i refused to get that martha book because i feel like she'd be yelling at me all the time from inside the book, "do it this way!" "do it that way!" "you're house is a mess!"

haha! happy tt!

Looks like you are going to be busy!!
Good Luck!

That's quite a list! Good luck with everything. I think the pantry would be my first task. The organizing of the address book could take forever.

Great list...sounds like you're going to be very busy. Happy Thursday! Mine is up too!

Ugh. Re-doing the address book... what a pain. This is why I always entered the information in pencil, with a very light touch. Makes it easier to erase and write over.

Hope your Thursday is going well. :)

Don't you love the way this stuff piles up when you aren't watching?

I solved my design problem by moving to wordpress.com, and I've gotta say I'm really happy I did.

That's alright, kill two birds with one stone, a T13 and a to-do list in one. Hope you get it all worked out.

Lara said...

Thanks for the visit to my place! Your list is good, and I don't think it's uncreative. So there. :-P

Happy Thursday! :)

You've reminded me that I have a LOT to organize too(bookshelves and closets). ::it never ends:: I love the feeling when the stuff on the to do list gets scratched off. :)

Nice to meet you!!!

Are you talking about Martha's new book?? The one that costs a bazillion bucks?? Sheesh!! I need to rid my pantry of all the "yuck" too! lol!!

Good luck with the budget part, Amy!!! Damn this money thing is hard!!
Tanx for passing by my site!!

I think it´s a creative list... but $100 for a blog layout? No way! =)

I´ll keep my fingers crossed for you you´re gonna make all these things on your list!

Uisce said...

Hello, Leanne sent me! come check out my design and you'll know who you want doing yours... go ahead and ask me! :) Happy late-TT!

No way I'm setting up one of these at the moment.... I couldn't stop at thirteen!

I'm impressed that you were organised enough to send out cards that were returned. Mine only went out as I left them at my Mum's house and she posted them when she found them after I left for Glasgow....

They're all things I can associate with.... Number 7's a good one!

Happy belated TT x
