Amy . . .

What would you like to know? I am fun, but crazy. I have a most perfect husband, and 2 cats named Samson and Delilah. We are presently working on adopting a little girl from China and have a separate blog for that. I am a Christian and am working on a better relationship with him. I live in the Atlanta area and love sharing stories with people. I am also a pediatric nurse and I love it! I love to talk and meet new people and I love Disney Cruising

Thirteen Things about Amy

Apparently this is the last TT. Bummer! Hope to see you guys around other memes..There are some cool ones out there!
13 things you do when adopting from China

1. WAIT! There is a lot of waiting going on.
2. Get organized
3. Do a lot of paperwork!
4. Enter the paperchase
5. Meet wonderful people
6. Attend an orientation
7. Join support groups
8. Get papers, have papers notarized and then certified and then state certified and then authenticated and then translated and then send to China
9. Learn about a budget because adoption does cost money
10. Answer a lot of questions and explain that you do not get to go pick one up !
11. Dream about the future and look forward to your trip to China and how it will change your life forever!
12. Check your mailbox daily
13. worry about finding 8 group photos..Its hard..we don’t have that many

There are many more things and if you want to read, hit our adoption blog at www.thechristoperfamily.blogspot.com

What an amazing thing to do! my fingers are crossed that things run smoothly for you.
It has just taken two years for my sister and family to get approved as emergency foster carers, that was a lot of paperwork!

One of my supervisors is adopting from Russia, and if you can believe it, he says that from comparison between his experience and friends', it's even more difficult, expensive and confusing than China. Yeek!

I would hate the waiting part. Good luck!

I agree w. your Idol post. The boys were, overall, awful. I like Beat Box guy. And, the girls were amazing. And, Lakisha? WOW! Are the executives falling over themselves to sign her or what. I was so impressed.

Great list! I like #10. You mean you don't just get to go there and bring back a baby? I hope the process goes quicker for you. It will all be worth it in the end. But I don't have to tell you that do I :)
