Amy . . .

What would you like to know? I am fun, but crazy. I have a most perfect husband, and 2 cats named Samson and Delilah. We are presently working on adopting a little girl from China and have a separate blog for that. I am a Christian and am working on a better relationship with him. I live in the Atlanta area and love sharing stories with people. I am also a pediatric nurse and I love it! I love to talk and meet new people and I love Disney Cruising

How much more random can I get?

********warning this may not make any sense*********
Seriously, I was outside somewhere and the environment around me reminded me of a memory of childhood. I thought to myself, what a cool place to find an Easter egg. I didn't think to myself what a place to hide an egg, but rather a cool place to find an Easter egg? Do you remember Easter egg hunts? If you are a parent, do you hide eggs for your children now and if so are they real or plastic and do you put stuff in the plastic ones?

Go check out Michaels Wordless Wednesday!!!!!

Yes we have Easter Egg hunts here. We color eggs and leave them out on our bunny egg plate for the Easter Bunny to hide around the house. He hides the real eggs here, but my mother hides plastic eggs full of coins and cnady at her house for my boys to find when they go there too.

Plastic with candy-that way they can rehide over and over and over and over again!

Easter egg hunts is one of my most favorite memories Amy! As a child we colored real eggs and then my mom would hide them in the yard. She used to also hide my basket and I would have a treasure map to go and find it.

As a parent we did color eggs too, but I would buy all kinds of wonderful things and put them in the plastic eggs. We also would place a new silver dollar in egg and whoever found that one got a little something extra at then end of the hunt. My kids are 20, 19 and 16 and they still love for mto hide eggs!

Oh Amy, I am just realizing all the wonderful things you are soon going to experience with LynnMarie! Why do I always cry whenever I am over here? It just fills my heart with such joy knowing that each day brings her that much closer to home.

Since I met DH we've had the tradition of hiding 'real' Easter eggs. Even though our kids are growing up, they still enjoy the hunt.

The only Easter egg hunt my kids did was at the local Nursing Home. They do it every year for the residents to watch.

Easter eggs, I think we do a combination of the two, and the kids get to paint some of the real ones. But they like the plastic ones because they know they have goodies inside.

My parents stopped hiding easter eggs at about 9 or 10 years of age because our dog would get there first.

We color real eggs, but we hide the plastic ones outside for the actual hunt. I fill them with candy/coins/toys. It's so much fun watching Isabella run all around the yard looking for them!
