Amy . . .

What would you like to know? I am fun, but crazy. I have a most perfect husband, and 2 cats named Samson and Delilah. We are presently working on adopting a little girl from China and have a separate blog for that. I am a Christian and am working on a better relationship with him. I live in the Atlanta area and love sharing stories with people. I am also a pediatric nurse and I love it! I love to talk and meet new people and I love Disney Cruising

just thoughts from me

Its beginning to look a lot like a long weekend. I need you guys to help keep me entertained. What is your favorite Holiday and why? Are there any holidays that you dont really care about?

Happy Memorial Day!
Its 6am and I am so stinkin tired..Really, I am. I had the easiest shift ever and I am still tired. I worked as a Superuser to help other nurses learn the computerized charting and thats about it. 1 out of 5 almost done....
What are you going to do this weekend?
Scavenger Hunt winners! I have not forgotten about you. There has been no time to get to the post office during open hours...I have not and will not forget about you. My new blog should be ready any day now!
Rock on!!!

I personally like Christmas, particularly when seen through a child's eyes. Thanksgiving is great because of the food, woo hoo!

I am going to Gatlinburg for a long weekend. Fun!

The time between Thanksgiving and New Years is my favorite time. The anticipation of gifts, mrs ducks birthday, friends and family gatherings, 87000 football games, lotsa food. Ahh heaven

all we got is a picnic Monday

My favorite Holiday is the 4th of July....I just love summer and we go to an annual parade, off to my Grandmas for a little while and then we share the evening with friends having a bonfire and watching the kids do fireworks.

Memorial Day...we go to several cemeteries to visit loved ones graves and say a prayer (one of them being my dad who died when I was young). As weird as this sounds...it's a very hard day but I feel at peace when we arrive at home for the remainder of the evening.

I don't think I have a least favorite.

I really like the holidays at the end of the year -Thanksgiving and Christmas, those are my favorites.

I haven't even had a chance to go through your blog and pick out a dvd or cd for my scavenger hunt win! Is there a time limit? LOL

I'm going out of town for a few weeks and don't know if I'll have a chance before then.
