Amy . . .

What would you like to know? I am fun, but crazy. I have a most perfect husband, and 2 cats named Samson and Delilah. We are presently working on adopting a little girl from China and have a separate blog for that. I am a Christian and am working on a better relationship with him. I live in the Atlanta area and love sharing stories with people. I am also a pediatric nurse and I love it! I love to talk and meet new people and I love Disney Cruising

my question of the day

Yesterday I asked about what you are passionate about.

Today I want to know, what makes you happy?

I am sure you will get many repeat answers for this one.

I say my family first and foremost, we have the largest family in all Arizona, OK I'm kidding here but really we do have a very large family, my blog is mostly all about my family actually.

My five grandkids, they are my five little rays of hope, I love each and every one of them, oh and there's one more on the way, I'm happy about that too.

I'm also happy that my wife is not jelaous of my blogs anymore, she was when I started blogging.

It's hard for me to narrow things down but adoption is a topic that both makes me happy and that I feel passionate about. A more general happy thought is constant progression and taking time to notice and enjoy it. ;)

Holly

Alot makes me happy ~ it always seems to be the simple things in life....my family, the color pink, a thunderstorm, seeing a child learning something new, a flower blooming ... simple pleasures!

What makes me happy? I'm easy to please...praising God--especially singing, because I love to sing...spending time with my family...trying (and liking) a new restaurant...having money to spend on something fun...garage sales...a pretty yard...a clean house...freshly cleaned sheets...I could go on forever...

Family, of course - at least MOST of the time!
New people checking out my blog - thanks,Amy - I like what I've seen of yours, so far.
Gardening - playing in the dirt - seeing beautiful blooms.
My dogs - friends - a gorgeous summer day on the lake - thunderstorms - CHOCOLATE -
Yeah - this could turn into a very long list.

Oh my...a complete list would be a hundred miles long, so here's just a few: being held by my baby, Annie's enthusiasm for learning, artwork from Gray, hugs and flowers from Max, quiet moments before anyone else is up, my comfy pajamas, creating, a good book, daisies, Baker's sweet face...

Lots of things make me happy: but most of all my family. Today I was especially happy to find some new allergy friendly food for my son.
Oh, and good wine :)

The color blue makes me smile every time I see it. Giggling babies are even better than that. And knowing that know matter what happens in this world I will go to Heaven when I die.

Sunshine, hot chocolate, naps, back rubs, obedient kids, dates with my husband...Lots of things make me happy. The thing I'm seeking is to be joyful even when my circumstances aren't making me *happy.*
Gotta rely on the Holy Spirit to do that work in me!
Thanks for visiting my blog today. I hope you'll come back!
