Amy . . .

What would you like to know? I am fun, but crazy. I have a most perfect husband, and 2 cats named Samson and Delilah. We are presently working on adopting a little girl from China and have a separate blog for that. I am a Christian and am working on a better relationship with him. I live in the Atlanta area and love sharing stories with people. I am also a pediatric nurse and I love it! I love to talk and meet new people and I love Disney Cruising

Its the weekend!!!!

Its the weekend and I am working. I like to work the weekend but my mind is really on the adoption stuff..It looks like all we need is my passport and some group photos and we are ready to turn it in?

Lets see... Whats your idea of a romantic evening?

A romantic evening could be something simple like going out to dinner and an evening walk. Or perhaps sitting on the couch to watch a movie and getting my feet rubbed. :) Have a great week end.

Anything sans children would seem pretty romantic to me!

Thankful that the Maxidoodle cheered up and got excited about going to his soccer class.

Hmm - let's see! It's been so long! A romantic evening for me would be an evening at home, just the two of us, hubby fixing dinner and cleaning up afterward! Then a nice back rub - for me! Oh, and rose petals thrown all over the bedroom and a hot buble bath!
I am thankful for my husband! He's not really the romantic type, but he's a very good man. He's kind and loving and works hard to take care of our family!

An evening out for dinner and a show, followed by an evening at our local spa hotel with the jacuzzi room. That is a dreamy romatic get away.

I am thankful for my quiet Saturday morning.

My husband is a true romantic. He's very creative too. One night he had arranged a babysitter for the kids and went out and bought a foot massager with all the lotions. I came home from work and he had candles burning and soft music playing. He massaged my feet and sang love songs to me by candlelight! I felt like a queen!

I am thankful that even after 22 years of marriage my husband still treats me like a queen and still wants to romance me!

An evening when my husband is pampering me even though it has been one of those days I haven't been very nice.

Maybe a nice dinner out or meal at home with a movie!

Regular romantic to me is going to my favorite Italian place nearby, the kind with a candle in an old wine bottle and red checkered tablecloths. Eating my favorite food, then sharing tiramisu with my husband.

Special romantic is going away somewhere, just the two of us, to a cabin or somewhere fun.

Great question!

wonderful news about the adoption-

Dont get romantic nights out or in , sometimes thought it just nice to go for a meal alone or with friends and be 'us' not mum and Dad

It would be a dinner out without the kids, a movie at home (away from the teens at the theatre), going to bed early and sleeping late. Ummm...8 hours of uninterrupted sleep....a back rub would be nice, but I wouldn't press my luck:-)

I am thankful that I was able to get all of the boxes in my kitchen/dining room unpacked, finally! Two rooms set up, YEA!!!
