This was taken Christmas Day 2006. This represented the missing family member, Tim! HE was in Florida with his wife and baby celebrating his sons first Christmas..The chair was EMPTY!!! He got a good laugh out of this picture!
Amy . . .
What would you like to know? I am fun, but crazy. I have a most perfect husband, and 2 cats named Samson and Delilah. We are presently working on adopting a little girl from China and have a separate blog for that. I am a Christian and am working on a better relationship with him. I live in the Atlanta area and love sharing stories with people. I am also a pediatric nurse and I love it! I love to talk and meet new people and I love Disney Cruising

It doesn't look like a chair that would be empty too long - very comfortable!
Thanks for visiting :)
i need a great big comfy chair like that so i can sit & knit in :)
How sweet that you still 'reserved' a seat for your 'missing family member'. And I agree, it looks so comfy.
Its always sad when people are missing from their usual chairs! Great photo.
Big cushy chair - I would love to be lounging in that! :-)
Thanks for stopping by.
hi amy in kennewaw. this is bee in podunk (blairsville ga) come may, when the pollen is mostly gone we will go home. thanks for visiting and i am sure we will meet again...

Is that anything like the empty next syndrome? This picture is both sad and progressive - sad because he's missing and progressive because he's moving on with his life. Great interpretation!
I guess I should clarify. Christmas was in Ga. BIL lives in FLorida.. He just couldnt make it for the holiday..All is well! I thought it was a silly picture when I took it..Thanks for responses
Awwww... that´s such a sweet idea to keep the (very comfy looking) chair empty for Tim.
Mmmh, I bet celebrating his son´s 1st Christmas in Florida has been much fun, but... thinking about the chair *LOL*
Have a great weekend, Amy!
nice comfy looking chair! if i see that empty around here, i'd definitely jump in it & get a good rest of my back, lol! happy hunting!
that looks like a great chair to curl up with a good book! Great take on the theme this week! Thanks for visiting my photo!
An empty chair like that wouldn't last long in our house, but what a fun idea to take a picture of it for him.
Great pic. That looks like quite a comfortable chair - it must have been tough to leave it empty.
That looks like a comfy chair. :) Nice of you to "reserve" it for your missing family member.
Thanks for visiting!
At our house this chair would be filled with three or four cats... if they were tired enough to share.
Great picture for the theme. Thanks for stopping by.
That looks like a nice, big comfortable chair. I'm sure it wasn't vacant for long. Thanks for sharing.
No kidding...I would've sat there quickly. It looks like a cozy place. I assume it was only empty long enough for a photo op! :)
Great take on the theme. Happy Hunting.
I'll claim the chair! Looks to comfy to be empty. I might need someone to help me get out of it though ;o)
I am thankful for my lift chair!!
I love your interpretation for this week's theme. What a great comfy, empty chair. Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend.
A big empty comfy chair, very inviting. Happy weekend.
What a fun photo for empty. Doubt if he was worried about it being taken with the baby to get excited over.
For a minute there, I thought you were going to write that the missing person was Tiny Tim from Dickens!! What a great photo and a cozy chair too!
Thanks for dropping by.
Happy Weekend

I hope your son got home to fill that chair and enjoy time with you. Nice take on this weeks theme
Funny! I like that picture and the chair looks sooo comfy! Nice choice for the theme.
It's nice that you thought of him :)
Thanks for stopping by mine :)
Perfect photo for the theme!
That is a good chair to take a nap in!
I am thankful for my big cushy chair that enables my blogging habit. It is hard talk yourself into getting up, especially with so many facsinating blogs to read!
