Amy . . .

What would you like to know? I am fun, but crazy. I have a most perfect husband, and 2 cats named Samson and Delilah. We are presently working on adopting a little girl from China and have a separate blog for that. I am a Christian and am working on a better relationship with him. I live in the Atlanta area and love sharing stories with people. I am also a pediatric nurse and I love it! I love to talk and meet new people and I love Disney Cruising

Pray for Aubreys family

Little Aubrey is a patient of mine who has a brain tumor. I woke up this morning to learn she earned her angel wings. No more suffering for Aubrey who has lived with this tumor for almost 8 years old. This another precious family to me. When she was my patient, I would stay and talk to the family for what seemed hours. Pray for them as they grieve and mom takes care of herself as she is expecting baby number 2

I'm always close to tears when I read things like this.

Sure I will pray for them. And I wish them all luck they need for their baby.

And for you here are some long distance hugs to cheer you up a bit.

Oh Amy, how heartbreaking!
How wonderful that families like this have incredible people like you to help them through their illnesses. They will be in my prayers, as will you!

How tragic!

I am thankful for all of my children. Taking the oldest to specialists so often, we see many others who are so much worse off. It is hard. Bless these families, and the precious unborn baby that did not get the opportunity to know its sibling.

Amy, I am so sorry to read this. I will be praying for this dear family and for mom as she is expecting again.

I am so very thankful for three healthy children.

Another lil' angel in heaven!

I'll say a prayer for her family and friends as they will need them at this time.

Losing a loved one is never easy, a child even more so.

How hard it must be to deal with these losses in your profession. I work in a church and it can be hard to take all the funerals of parishioners, I am getting better at it, but sometimes when the church music begins to play, a few tears will ineveitably come.

Peace and God Bless to you!
