Amy . . .

What would you like to know? I am fun, but crazy. I have a most perfect husband, and 2 cats named Samson and Delilah. We are presently working on adopting a little girl from China and have a separate blog for that. I am a Christian and am working on a better relationship with him. I live in the Atlanta area and love sharing stories with people. I am also a pediatric nurse and I love it! I love to talk and meet new people and I love Disney Cruising

QUESTION OF THE DAY

I just love it when my sister posts on my blog..She always brings something interesting up!

On that note, here is the question of the day and its not so serious?

Is there a movie that you could watch over and over and not get sick of it? I have what I call "laundry movies"! These are movies that I use when doing laundry upstairs and they pretty much stay upstairs? what about you

How to lose a guy in 10 days and any Julia Robert movie work for me!

One of my favorite movies of all time (besides It's A Wonderful Life), is Houseboat with Cary Grant and Sophia Loren. First of all it has two amazing actors in it and, of course, they start out not even liking each other and then fall in love, marry and live happily ever after! What better way to spend the day?! When my girls were still living at home, the kids would groan every time I took it out to put in the VCR! If you haven't seen it, you should check it out. It's wonderful!
Today, I'm thankful for my children and my grandchildren. Yesterday, I spent the day with all four of my grandchildren, two of my daughters, my son and 1 son-in-law. Today, I am spending the day with all four of my children and all four of my grandchildren! I love my family and thank God for them every day! I am blessed, daily, by things they do or things they say. They are amazingly loving and caring individuals and I am proud of each one of them!

I would have to say romantic comedies, namely Something's got to give, Music & Lyrics and Bridget Jones Diary.

I am thankful for spring and wearing sandals! Now I'm sure my toes may be screaming "Put some socks on for Pete's Sake", but they'll get used to it.

Happy Spring!

This is an easy question for me- Top Gun its maybe not the best film of all time but there was just something that made me feel both sad and happy .I watched it so many times when I was on bed rest with my pregnacies- havent watch in a while my video packed up so will need to get a dvd sometime.

Im thankful for medicines that we are able to get easily here and thinking of those in 3rd world countries who struggles for the simplest of drugs and healthcare

I have many, but the all time favorite dates back to our sophmore year at Union, when I roomed with Ally: Reality Bites. Yea for marathon Wednesdays:-)

Second favorite: Bed of Roses

I am thankful for all of my fantastic Union memories!

Newsies, Arsenic and Old Lace ("Chaaaaaaarge!"), American Outlaws

I'm thankful for singing and dancing. Even if I'm not so great at it, I love the way my five month old laughs at me when I put on an old movie or turn on the radio and sing and dance away just for her!

Definitely girl type movies, although I can watch any of the Star Wars or LOTR movies over and over. My picks would be movies like You've Got Mail, While You Were Sleeping, Notting Hill, My Big Fat Greek Wedding, things like that :)

I'm thankful for a beating heart!

You've Got Mail and Love Comes Softly are the first two that come to mind. I love any Romance that is clean and has a good happy ending.

Oh wow...someone else said The Breakfast Club. That one would be mine. Anthony Michael Hall's character cracks me up every time.

Oh, and I'm thankful that we can skip the winter coats today!

American President with Michael Douglas and Annette Benning! I could watch it over and over and over!!
Wild Hogs is going to be the next one when it comes out on DVD. I saw it twice in one day and laughed just as hard the second time.
